Before our move I did my reasearch and 3 quotes. All were of a very similar price BUT, and this is a big BUT - City Moves were the only company to correctly identify that we would need 2x removal vans. Other companies quoted for 1 van for almost the same price!
The teams arrived exactly on time on our removal day, they were ploite, courteous and worked efficiently to load all our belongings.
All items were efficiently stacked into our storage unit without issue.
Would definately recommend and use again.

Absolutely amazing. Dave, Jacob and Aide were fabulous. They were so helpful and respectful of our property. We were all packed up and ready to go ahead of schedule and these guys took the stress out of the move. Very professional and well worth the cost . I would highly recommend City Moves any day of the week .

City moves arrived on time, and parked considerately for my neighbours in a small road. They moved all my boxes and furniture safely, I loved the wardrobe boxes. I would chose to use them again.

Two men arrived promptly the day before the move to pack. (Justin & Rhys) They were extremely efficient and packed 100+ boxes in a little over 5 hours. They were so helpful and very considerate of our home and belongings. On the day of the move a team of 3 (Rhys, Darren & Dave) turned up at the time we were told. They packed the few remaining belongings and loaded the van to move us from Caerphilly to Gloucester, completely emptying our house before midday. Nothing was too much trouble for them, even cheerfully unloading a few items we had forgotten to tell them were staying. At the other end they unloaded the van quickly and efficiently, with nothing broken or damaged. Justin, Rhys, Darren and Dave made a fantastic team. We can't praise them highly enough. The following week a team came to collect all the boxes and the packaging we managed to salvage, saving us multiple trips to the tip and usefully recycling the boxes etc. An extremely professional and efficient service throughout. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

I contacted City Moves on the Wednesday prior to the August bank holiday weekend and met Vince on site the following morning. We had an urgent requirement to move warehouse equipment to a different site on the following Tuesday and Vince and the team pulled out all the stops to ensure that everything went smoothly. His team were on time, professional and quick. No fuss.

I highly recommend City Moves. Gary and Marcus were fantastic on moving day. They were prompt, so warm, calm and helpful, and they went above and beyond to ensure everything got moved safely, unloaded to where I wanted it at the other end, and that I had everything just as I needed before they left. On a stressful day they were a real calming, kind and professional presence - I was really grateful to have them.

I used city moves on a recommendation. I had to store some item for a period of time between moving house. The collection was quick, efficient and they arrived at the specified time. On returning my items again the did so in a timely manner. They really went above and beyond to get all the items into the correct place in our new home. I have always been able to speak to someone with a very short waiting time on the phone. The service is cheaper than competitors. They also offered, if something was needed that had gone into storage it could be accessed and retrieved.

City moves arrived on time and the two men who came were very efficient took care with all my furniture and boxes .
We did not get the key to my new property until 4 pm and then they fetch my goods in and placed them where I wanted . I moved to a retirement flat which was on the first floor and they had to bring everything up a flight of stairs again they worked well as a team very impressed nothing broken I would recommend this company

I couldn’t recommend CityMoves enough. We were let down 10 days before our move by another company and they were able to accommodate our move. On the day the three guys arrived before time and were incredibly friendly and helpful. I couldn’t fault their work or their professionalism throughout the day, they were incredibly hard working (in 31 degree heat!) and made what can be a stressful day actually quite enjoyable!
We would recommend CityMoves to anyone.

The 3 men who moved my Dad were excellent. Friendly, accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. They even fixed some furniture that was wobbly, going above and beyond. Couldn't recommend them highly enough!

We recently moved our family within Bristol and chose City Moves after getting several quotes. On the day a team of 5 arrived from Swansea and were early despite the distance travelled. For what seemed like an absolute impossible mammoth task, the lads got straight on with it, making it look easy and with good humour too which really helped settle our nerves. Within a few hours the house was cleared and all our belongings safely packed away onto 3 vans. They didn’t once complain and were great fun to be around. They waited patiently for the keys and then put everything where we wanted it. We couldn’t have done it without them. Can’t remember all their names but shout out to Byron and co. Thank you city moves, would definitely recommend.
