Amazing concert at St Mary Le Strand! Incredible Chopin recital played on a fabulous Steinway in the most enchanting setting.
We have just come home from the Vivaldi Four Seasons 'by candlelight' at Durham cathedral, bought as a Christmas present for my Mam, we were very much looking forward to this as Durham cathedral is so atmospheric and magical so could not wait to hear this incredible event as we had been to one at Newcastle cathedral before, and it was magical, but I'm afraid this was anything but, I purchased Band A seats, hoping for at least some kind of view, could not see a thing- which wouldn't of been a problem if the music had made up for it, we weren't that far from the front but it was very quiet, the speaker to introduce seemed to come through the speakers but the music audio did not, Durham Cathedral is a HUGE space to fill- and it didn't even fill a corner, incredibly flat- no feeling came from it- no emotion- may as well of had a cd playing in the corner of an enormous cathedral- it was just lost- and it wasn't just us that felt this way, ALOT of people left in the interval complaining of the same, absolutely devastating as we had such high hopes for a beautiful musical sensation in a stunning location, and to top it off this was in no way shape or form by candle light - a mere couple dotted around a huge space just wasn't even justifiable to call it candle lit, all in all a huge disappointment, absolutely gutted.
The Piccadilly Sinfonietta concert at St.James’ last night was fantastic. The clarinettist (Sarah Williamson) was wonderful and played the Mozart beautifully. Iona MacDonald, the soloist in the Four Seasons, was fabulous too. It was a really lovely evening.
It was a pleasure to attend the Candlelight performance at the beautiful St Mary Church le Strand . Thank you to the team for the warm welcome as we all arrived. What an amazing start to the weekend. I was captivated from the start to the end and look forward in attending future events by this talented orchestra. All the musicians were incredible - each played with so much skill and passion. I was especially blown away by Martyn Jackson - the violin truly came to life as he played. Thank you Piccadilly Sinfonietta for a memorable evening! Sheila Nar
Utterly sublime performances filled with passion, nuance and imagination. I was transfixed from the opening to the very final note. Breathtaking. I adored every single moment. Will return again and again. Thank you.

I have never been to such an enthralling performance of Vivaldi, Mozart and Corelli. The Piccadilly Sinfonietta had such vitality and energy the whole of Coventry Cathedral became pure magical music. I am not young but could hardly sit still in my seat, I wanted to run and dance around the building.
Do not hesitate to buy tickets to see and hear this talented group, there is no razzmatazz or stodginess just a very vibrant loving performance of music.

Cancelled our tickets for Vivaldi in Liverpool on the same day as the showing, just a few hours before. Apparently they over sold the event. Disappointing. Be wary of dealing with this company.

Watching Warren Mailley-Smith exhibit his virtuosity at the piano in such a sublime location as Durham Cathedral will live long in the memory. His recitals of Suite Bergamasque and Moonlight Sonata were unforgettable.

The recital that I attended was utterly beautiful!! The venue is stunningly atmospheric and the performer and accompanist were top class professionals. Tickets for such performances by these notable professionals are rarely within my price range. I had a truly wonderful experience.

I recently had the pleasure of attending a candlelit concert at St Anne’s Church Manchester. It has been a while since I went to a classical concert, however I will now be treating myself to regular visits to watch The Piccadilly Sinfonietta, it was absolutely delightful
The Musicians for a Chamber Orchestra created such a full and rounded musical experience
The Soloists were amazing ….. I will be telling everyone I know to treat themselves to an evening of joy
