Extremely Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended
We paid £300 for a celebrant service that was never delivered. While the initial conversations seemed warm and agreeable, things changed drastically after payment was made.
Despite agreeing to reschedule (which was not restricted in the contract), he later refused to issue a refund. His justification included “preparing vows” — which turned out to be generic and inaccurate (e.g., claiming we’d been together 15 years, when we've only been married 4).
He failed to show up adequately prepared on the agreed day and later used personal photos from our private elopement without permission, which was extremely distressing.
We are pursuing a chargeback and exploring legal action due to:
Failure to provide the agreed service
Use of our private images without consent
Our experience left us feeling misled and disrespected. I cannot recommend this service to anyone planning a meaningful, respectful ceremony.
