I booked a tour of the Crumlin Road…

I booked a tour of the Crumlin Road Gaol today via this company.
When I got there, I was denied entrance because apparently Civitatis have not responded to them about issues with their bookings. And, there is no contact information to resolve the issue, their 'chat portal' fails to connect, apparently you are always third in line... but the queue never shrinks.
I'd suggest not to use this company. One in twenty of their reviews are currently one star, I wish that I had looked here first.
PS Civitatis. I want my money back, not a holding response.
Your response is a lie. I spoke to the ticket office. She informed me that they had told you that they would not accept tickets from you. Apparently they can not get any response from you on the various issues they are having. I want a refund today

We understand you want answers now, but it takes time to get all the details from the client, send them to the provider and get a reply.

Regarding your chat with us, this is what we were trying to do: get more details. We replied to you after the three people ahead of you were attended, and I can confirm that our message went unanswered. 

Concerning your claim, for this activity the Civitatis voucher has to be exchanged at the ticket office indicated before accessing, as indicated on the voucher itself.

That is why they did not allow you in with it.

We suggest you read the voucher carefully in order to avoid this in the future.

Recently participated in a guided tour that was both informative and enjoyable. The lady guide was knowledgeable and engaging, providing interesting insights about the history and significance of the locations we visited.

There is a consistent discrepancy…

There is a consistent discrepancy between the description of the service and the actual service provided. What I have noticed in particular is that any premium/luxury service is only such when it comes to the price but when you end up experiencing it it is just standard or even sub-par. I have booked a lot of tours and services through this platform in Colombia and particularly everything in Santa Marta and Cartagena was a complete disaster. I ended up arguing with the platform, the local tour operators and the guides. I paid insanely high prices for basic things and trying to get at least a partial refund through Civitatis was an ordeal. This affected very negatively my trip experience and left a very bitter taste in my mouth. I will never ever use this platform again and make sure everyone I know does the same.

The Jewish Quarter walking tour in…

The Jewish Quarter walking tour in Budapest was excellent! Booking through Civitatis was quick and easy. Our guide was very nice, polite, and knowledgeable — she explained everything clearly and shared fascinating stories. A great way to learn about Budapest’s Jewish history!

DO NOT TRUST THEM

Be careful when booking with them. I booked a day trip to Salamanca and Avila for my mum and aunts and a week before, the provider, not even them sends me a Whatsapp cancelling the whole thing (all paid). No explanations. Civitatis knew nothing about it, and by reading the reviews on the provider (Amigo Tours), they do this often so I guess Civitatis doesn't vet their employees and doesn't care about their customers. You think you’re safe because they are well known, but they couldn’t care less. You know what explanation Civitatis gave me? An issue with the bus! As if they couldn’t fix a bus in one week or get, maybe, another bus being this their entire JOB? Bus tours?

Nunca más. Cancelan el tour a último minuto y ni se dignan a dar la cara y decir la verdad. Obviamente sobre vendieron los cupos del tour y cancelaron el viaje de mi madre y sus hermanas. Vergüenza de “agencia”.

Busquen agencias serias y de confianza. No confíen en Amigo Tours ni en Civitatis.
