In breech of fire safety regulations

We had not had a fire safety inspection done for at least 16 years. One was finally undertaken, after being reported to the fire brigade, and it is currently 2.5 months since the survey and CKBOnline will not give me an answer on whether they have the report and when any remedial work will be undertaken. The building is currently unsafe and yet no action is being taken to fix this and no communication about the matter.

CKB Block Management are not responsible for the management or safety compliance of this property. Our instruction is limited to collecting insurance premiums. We were asked by the freeholder to arrange a Fire Risk Assessment only after the existing assessment was deemed unsatisfactory. Responsibility for the report, any remedial works, and ongoing building safety does not lie with CKB Block Management.

As supplier to the block management sector, we see CBK as a breath of fresh air.
Issues reported are REALLY dealt with and thoroughly investigated, and urgent matters are dealt with without delay.
Invoices submitted are paid immediately and punctually without the need to chase.
