I wished I had read reviews first. Such bad quality products. I bought a cardigan for £39.95. What I received was a cardigan worth about £6.99. Do not order from this company just a complete scam

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. THEY ARE BASED IN CHINA. THEIR CLOTHING IS POOR QUALITY AND DOES NOT MATCH THE PICTURES ON THEIR WEBSITE. THE REFUND OFFERED TO ME WAS 20% OFF TOTAL PRICE OR RETURN TO CHINA AT MY OWN EXPENSE. THE ITEMS PURCHASED WERE POOR QUALITY MATERIALS. EXTREMELY ANNOYING 😑

Poor quality cardigan and expensive return to China

I ordered a yellow polka-dot cardigan from Clara Kensington for £39.95. Unfortunately, the item I received was disappointing in quality. The knit is very thin, the buttonholes appear unfinished, there are loose threads and holes, and the cuffs are particularly flimsy. The garment also arrived without a fibre composition or care label.

When I requested a refund, I was told I would have to pay to return the cardigan to China. I asked whether they could provide a UK return address or prepaid return label, but they refused. Instead, they offered me a 40% partial refund if I kept the cardigan, or a full refund only after I paid for tracked international postage and the item passed their inspection.

I am disappointed both by the quality of the product and by the difficulty of obtaining a straightforward refund. I would advise other customers to read the returns policy carefully before ordering and consider the potential cost of returning items overseas.

I always look at Trustpilot before ordering anything and don't know why I didn't this time! If only I had, it would have saved me £34. I ordered the flowery cardigan which was £37 but with some coupons I paid £34. The item took weeks to arrive and when it did I could have cried! This lump of flat badly made fabric which was classed as a cardigan arrived. As was said before in a review it was no more than a printed piece of crap that I wouldnt even wash my car with! Obviously got in touch with them demanding a full refund and we all know how these people operate telling you to return which we all know is not an option due to extortionate shipping costs. I negotiated a partial refund of 40% which they still made a fat profit out of me of £21. Please do not entertain this burglars! Steer clear, do not get sucked in by the pictures they use.

Dreadful quality - it wasn’t made with yarn but printed fabric and returns are to China at your cost. Basically a SCAM

Looks like a nice woollen jumper in the picture, it definitely is not. Thin shiny material. This item would cost £7.99 in primark but in all honesty even they wouldn’t sell such poor quality. Steer clear at all costs

Took ages to arrive and quality of product is dreadful. They have replied saying I can send back (at my expense). Do not use this company - I have reported them to Trading Standards.

Although this company has an address of Kensington in London (I live approx 40 miles away) I have still not received my order dated 23 September. My transit update tells me it hasn’t reached an airport yet! The distance could have been walked in less than the time it’s taken to arrive. Dreadful company. I am hoping for a refund but am doubtful the company even exists. BEWARE!!!

I would not buy from this company ever again… they have refused to refund my money for boots that don’t fit & a cardigan that was advertised as wool, but is an acrylic.

They say 30 days return policy is for wholesale defect or fault & when asked for where this statement was on their website they chose to ignore my question & repeat that they don’t offer refunds. Initially as a ‘goodwill’ gesture they offered 10% which was increased to 40% when I questioned the returns policy.

Although I’ve not purchased from this company, I’ve browsed all of their products and they’re all the same that have been on other sites, professing to be a British company, but are in fact ALL Chinese. The clue is that they all have a female name with the name of a popular British city! Customers receive poor quality products that they have difficulty returning. PLEASE CHECK REVIEWS BEFORE ANY PURCHASE, EVEN IF YOU THINK IT’S GENUINE
