Clarins Double Serum 50ml.

Clarins Double Serum 50ml...I'm 62 and overall have very good skin, but just starting to see a few small creases. Thought I'd treat myself to the double serum as got caught up in the advertising of how good this serum is. My experience is not so good. Even using a very small amount it leaves my skin sticky for hours. Not impressed at all for the price... Waste of money & disappointing!!
Update... Contacted customer service team...nobody gets back to you!!! Very disappointing.

I don't want people to be put off by negative reviews…

I don't want people to be put off by some of the reviews. As the products speak for themselves. And I don't think it's fair to judge through a faulty item or wrong one sent. I have been using Clarins since I was 16. I'm 45 and people say I look in my late 30s. I can't tell you enough about the product. They are all amazing and worth the price. No, I do not work for them. And I am a genuine, loyal customer. Even at Christmas last year, one of the makeup gift bags my order came in had a little mark on it. Not only did they send me another one, but put a little treat in there aswel. My favourite lip gloss. I'm really disappointed to see so many negative comments. It's a shame. Because so many women are missing out. And the loyalty rewards are amazing. Hope you give them a chance. Their products are out of this world.

I have no luck in contacting CLARINS.
I have been using their product…. Eau Dynamisante for many years. The last 3 bottles I bought have been faulty. The atomiser spray stops working?
Anyone else had this problem?
I am very disappointed as it is such a lovely product

Poor experience all round

Usually I would shop instore, however recently I broke my toe and have been housebound so shopped online. They were doing 20% however my order was extremely late because of this promotion. After 10 days my order arrived where I came to find that the night cream I ordered is the wrong one. It’s still the extra firming line, however I ordered ‘all skin types‘ version and received ‘dry skin’ version. I understand that mistakes can happen, however this is not the right product which I ordered and this is incredibly disappointing after the long wait. To top it off I got in touch with customer care who told me to return the product for a refund. So despite it being their mistake, I am expected to go out of my way to return via a post office. I explained I am not mobile at the moment due to my broken toe and asked for an alternative solution. Still awaiting a response. Really disappointing experience in every aspect. I don't feel valued at all and it’s really put me off the brand.

Spray mechanism on Eau Dynamisante not fit for purpose

The spray mechanism on the eau dynamisante bottles are definitely not fit for purpose. I was sent a replacement, but that was after having to wait for your Freepost envelope to arrive, then queue in the post office to send it back. I then duly received a replacement, but couldn't believe it when that spray mechanism also stopped working after only a few uses. I have had to go through the same regime once again sending it back, and have now opted to receive a refund. I would have expected though that a brand such as Clarins would have made it far simpler for me, and not expected me to return it a second time, and just simply given me the refund. I also had to call Clarins, and be put on hold for several minutes for them to be able to process my refund. Now I have to wait 5 - 10 working days to receive the refund! Really poor service in my opinion. I will now be looking elsewhere for a similar product which is a real shame as I have bought the eau dynamisante spray for many years and love it. So, so disappointed Clarins. The spray mechanism really needs to be addressed, and quickly before you lose other customers and money replacing the product.

Clarins -John Lewis,Southampton. I’ve been served by Agnes several times recently and she is very helpful and knowledgeable on all the products so I was confident her recommendations were good. I haven’t been disappointed. All the staff are helpful but Agnes seems to understand issues and concerns better for me anyway. Clarins products are also quite specific and are better for different skin types and ages, which is great. Thank you

Poor Customer Service

I ordered a Clarins Eau Dynamisante gift set only to find the atomiser was faulty on the 100ml spray. I contacted Clarins customer service via the chat on their website and after having to verify purchasing the product and sending them photos of the faulty item, they agreed to send not a replacement bottle but a replacement atomiser - but they were waiting for them to be sent from Paris! So I waited.. my first contact was Jan 22nd 2024 and I waited.. I contacted them again and only because I asked they sent me a small bottle to keep me going while I waited… I contacted them again in March to be finally told (but again it was only because I’d contacted them) the atomisers had finally arrived from Paris and they would send me one. I received the parcel this week only to find it contained no atomiser but a couple of complimentary samples. I’m not complaining about the staff the ladies I have spoken to Tori and Demi have both been helpful but all I really want is to be able to use my perfume! 11 weeks I have patiently waited and I love Clarins products, but this has really been very disappointing, time consuming and has made me question my loyalty to Clarins.

Very happy with Clarins.

I'm surprised to read such negative reviews. Most of the reviewers have only one review and this is suspicious to me. My experience with Clarins is excellent. Super nice products, honest descriptions and they keep the promises. Also, I like the point system. It is very accurate and easy to understand. Perfect packaging and decent delivery. I will continue to shop online with them. For some people certain products not suitable. Well, it is very individual and needs to find another vendor, probably. I didn't use customer service, because it wasn't any reason for it. Nothing I can say about it.

Rashes from new multi-active day and night creams

I recently bought the new formula of the Multi-active night and day creams. I have used the old formula for over two years with no problem but this new formula with [NIACINAMIDE + SEA HOLLY EXTRACT] has caused me to have an allergic skin reaction whereby I experienced rashes all over my face which I reported to the Clarins customer service so that I can return their products and get a refund but I have not received any response from them. Be careful in trying these new formulas…!!!!

Awful customer service

My first time ordering with this company specifically for a gift for mother's day, order never arrived, didn't even get a tracking number on the dispatch note, customer service is shocking emails ignored, nobody picks up the phone, finally got through to live chat to be told that the delivery company had not updated since the 1st March so its lost. Will never use this company again and will be telling my family not to use also.

This has the be the most awful company…

This has the be the most awful company and non existent customer care that I have ever encountered! I have been trying to contact customer services for over a week now - the call back option - they don’t call back - emails auto reply and then ignored … I still haven’t received a callback despite 3 emails - don’t bother using them then if you need any kind of customer service - ironically they do manage to send out “customer experience” survey, I’ve now had two!!! Which. I have completed and still they ignore them! And given reviews and personal experience they take no heed of …, I’ve reached the conclusion that this is typical of the brand - my first and second orders an issue and zero customer care. It’s all well and good referring people to the phone number but numerous calls and no reply - a press whatever for a call back and no call back - I wonder if the phone is even manned! Looks good to post a generic reply to people asking them to call - my advice - don’t waste your time or
Phone bill or money - they are equally as good brands on the market who do actually provide customer service and care!

16.3 still no call back - almost a week for a reply to my review telling me to email them if I haven’t heard - the only reason I posted on here is because they don’t respond to emails! Basically no customer service as I initially stated! Lip service comes easy … looks great to advise on here but the reality is they don’t follow up!

Had an e gift certificate, a complete shambles

Had an e gift certificate. Would not work. Eventually sorted, entered all the details and it took them and then made me put in credit card details which it then tried to use for payment, ignoring the gift certificate.

Complete shambles. Shop uninterested. Was actually brought as a Father’s Day present for a massage but, surprise, surprise it was not accepted for that.

NO RESPONSE FROM CLARINS HELP IN 7 DAYS, Shocking behaviour from this company. I purchased Multi-Active Day Cream All Skin Types and Multi-Active Night Cream All Skin Types. Both used once, day cream first, started to notice red bumps on my cheeks, used the night cream later same night, skin was worse by the next morning, more red bumps and now itchy and extremely dry. Just want to return these items for a full refund.

disappointing arrival

My parcel arrived and i was very disappointed to find the packaging was damaged and had split apart leaving my products unprotected. I also found a couple hairs in my parcel which was rather unpleasant. I have been very discouraged.
