Shopped here as a visitor to the town on 4th August. Served by Alfie. He was a credit to the store and demonstrated customer interaction skills that I wouldnt necessarily have expected from such a young man. He clearly understands the type of engagement customers respond positively to. I have no doubt this played a part in the sale being made. Other staff were also friendly and interested.

A couple of yearsGreat Customer Service ago
A couple of years ago, after my previous pair of sandals had finally fallen apart after about 20 years of use, I bought a pair of Tri Path sandals. Recently the magnetic buckle broke and I went into the Barnstaple branch to see if it was possible to get a replacement buckle Jon Adams the manager, with the help of Paul Wilson @ HO have arranged it, when it would so much easier to ignore me. Thank you

Excellent customer service:
I went into Clark’s shoe shop in Barnstaple to ask if they had the Sensais Shine shoe in store.
Jon served me and said they didn’t have it in stock but he could order it online to be delivered to the store. I was a bit hesitant but he offered a similar shoe so that I could try on, which had a similar front style of the shoe I required for a special occasion. The temporary shoe fitted well enough. So I ordered and paid for the shoes.
They arrived within the time frame and were an excellent fit, really comfortable and excellent for my special occasion. Thank you Clark’s Barnstaple!
