Kim at the Eastbourne store

Kim at the Eastbourne outlet for her outstanding customer service. Recently, I purchased school shoes for my daughter, which unfortunately broke. On 16th September 2024, I visited the store to exchange them. Despite the shoes being out of stock and the system not allowing Kim to place an order, she suggested I return the next day. Due to work commitments, I was unable to do so.

Kim kindly offered to handle the situation in my absence and assured me she would notify me once the system was operational. Today, I called to check on the progress and was delighted to learn that Kim had successfully arranged the exchange.

As an employee at Screwfix, I understand the importance of excellent customer service, and Kim has exceeded my expectations. Please extend my gratitude to Kim and her line manager. We will continue to shop at Clarks, with a preference for the Eastbourne store.

The agents are courteous and helpful

The agents are courteous and helpful. When I placed my order I never received the confirmation email therefore I panicked a bit. I reached out to customer service but aside from an email because no other options were available. Two days after an agent came to me with the missing info. Actually, I received the tracking information from the delivery company and the Monday after ordering on the Thursday I received my shoes from Clarks. Clarks is a great shop and shoes are of great quality, it has always been my go place for new shoes when living in the UK and it is still my go place now that I am back in France.

Would not recommend using

Would not recommend using.

Bought 3 pairs of shoes, paid for them all and was charged extra VAT. The shoes never arrived, apparently issues with address (which I checked again afterwards and there was no typo). Got reimbursed for only 2 pairs, took a complaint to get reimbursed for the last pair (admittedly this was handled well).
Never saw reimbursement for VAT, even though shoes were never even sent.
Worst online service I’ve ever tried.

Quick refund after return of Sandals bought in France

There are a few negative reviews here about the delay in receiving refunds after returning shoes. My experience is the reverse; according to Colismo they were returned today, and by lunchtime I had received my refund. It is known that many reviews are left by those with a negative experience, and that those with a positive interaction do not review because they are perfectly happy, so I hoped to introduce some balance.

I have never experienced such miserable service and refund

I have never experienced such miserable processing as here at Clarks. I had to wait 4 weeks for my goods. I have been waiting a good 8 weeks for my money to be refunded. The customer service is ignorant and incompetent and I will probably file a complaint for embezzlement. I was promised the money 14 days ago. No transaction to date. I will never order here again!

I had an excellent experience from Annie M on the phone. There was much confusion on my end about a return and exchange and she politely and calmly fix the issue. Highly recommended and a huge asset to Clarks.

Everything went very well

Everything went very well: shipping was quick and the products are of great quality. I have purchased from this site several times and have never had any problems.

Swiss Shop charges Custom Fees

I bought shoes through the swiss website. I got an invoice in CHF and seller is a company in Zurich. The Shoes came from Netzerlands and DHL charged me custom and handling fee. Clarks never mentioned that there are additional costs. Customer Service did not react by now. Il will not buy there any more.

Clark’s website says duty is paid on…

Clark’s website says duty is paid on delivery to Switzerland. They didn’t pay the duty so I have been charged import duty. Won’t buy from them again.

Shop around. Clarks is bad.

Over the past two years we bought around 15 pairs of shoes from Clarks. We always thought it was a good company. We have now faced an issue with a poorly designed clarks item and upon contacting customer services we discovered substantial issues with Clarks' operations, design and customer service sections. We will never again buy any product from clarks, and shall be sure that those around us are informed of the company's inadequacy, incompetence, and arrogance. If it was possible, we'd give a rating lower than 1.

Worst customer service ever

You don't need a good product when your customer service is weak and complaints are endless. Please, shut down your e-commerce until you can manage the process and stop destroying your own credibility. Do yourselves that favor! If your view of a business is not to pay enough to keep a decent customer service that monitor & supervise your volúmenes of sales online, just don't. It almost took me a month to get a reimbursement of a pair of sandals and I took pics and documented every step of the process to sue you if necessary. And all could've been avoided if someone had hired an ethical delivery company, not the cheapest, it could've been avoided if someone had answered my 1rst complain ticket. As far as I read, I see the same behavior from your part all over, when will you learn?

Great Clark's customer support team

I had an accident with my delivery i can't tell you exactely what was about, i was really desappointed, i was wearing clarks when i was a teenager in 80's and i was so in love with those shoes my mother was gifting me while growing, so for me Is a very meaning brand, i got refund and it gave me relief, so i can look for another pair of shoes now. Thank you again Clarks for your Great customer support team.

Had a great refund experience with…

Had a great refund experience with Clarks. Unfortunately the shoes I ordered didn't work and by the end of my work day I had four blisters on my heels. Clarks refunded me the entire cost and didn't ask for the shoes back, Angela was a super star! Instead of losing a customer I am now willing to give another style a try. Thank you!
