Hi Mary, looking at our records, you actually took out an outstanding debt from April that is 3 months past due and tried to defraud the system again by requesting multiple Instant Cash several times (which thankfully our systems caught). We take security seriously and have built a robust system to mitigate fraud - which is why your requests have been blocked. If you'd like to repay your outstanding debt and make things right to settle your account, you can always do so in the app.

I signed up for clerkie and even subscribe to get instant cash. I was depending on it and now ...waiting a day to now it's about to be two days and I didn't receive no money. Yet they took $8 out of my account quickly. I was going to use other services but now I don't trust clerkie any more!

Hi Gloria, so sorry to hear about your situation. And, most importantly, so sorry to hear that you didn’t even get to use our services yet – our team would have loved to help you resolve these issues and help you with your debt.
As it relates to your comments above, I just wanted to set the record straight that our service did not negatively impact your score; in fact, with all due respect, what you’re describing is pretty much impossible (especially since, as you put it, you did not get to use the service). Keep in mind that we don’t do any hard checks on your credit either so that would also be impossible...
I just spent quite a bit of time reviewing our records and even confirmed this with the credit bureaus, and upon reviewing the information you provided, it seems like missed credit card payments and high debt were the biggest negative factors impacting your score (and by the way, these items will sadly continue to negatively impact your score until you’re able to pay them off because your banks/creditors will continue reporting these missed payments on any debt accounts that are delinquent until they are repaid). I know this is not great news and that debt is always hard to confront, but hopefully that bit of information is helpful to you.
