Clickrent fuel policy be aware

I booked the Doyouspain and accepted the quote for click rent. The car was a new Peugeot and very nice. But they have a problem with their business model . They charge you over a €100 euro as a fuel policy , incase you do not return it full of fuel. I did but and got back my money -€31 euros . They would not give it back , so be careful they will charge you whatever you do !

Do not use!!

Do not use!!! Disgusting service. We rented in Ibiza- They charged us for damage we didn’t make. The car was checked when my husband brought it in, and then we get an email 7 days after they had the car back and charged us for damage we didn’t do even after they checked the car when it was delivered. DO NOT USE! Stay away! We have written to them 5 times and had no response, they take your money and don’t care.

WARNING , don`t use ClickRent !!

WARNING , don`t use ClickRent !!
When I was collecting the car, I informed the local agent that the fuel tank wasn`t full. The agent asked me to fill up the tank on my exit, that the company would pay me back. I provided the receipt to the agent. Now, some weeks later, I`m spending money and time chasing ClickRent to pay me back the amount.
Customer care is refusing to pay me the amount .

£600 SCAM!

Only trust Hertz and Sixt (worth paying just abit more)!!!! This company is a SCAM!! You're pick a car on their website believing its just £350, "Do You Spain" will then pick a car rental company for you, but you won't know who it is until you pay, your have to wait 10 minutes for your email to come though and they happened to choose "Click Rent" which is the worst car company! We went to pick up the car at "Click Rent" but they requested us to pay another £250 and we had to travel 30 minutes outside of the airport to pick the car up. "Do You Spain" don't refund so in the end we paid £600 for a rubbish small Opel Corsa car, which believe it or not broke down 15 minutes later down a dual carriage way with flat tyres, engine failure and a rear light that wasn't working. The Government really need to step in here, these companies are seriously dangerous and ruin holidays. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE - Don't trust these companies!!! If anyone wants to group up and take these companies down legally, please contact me!!!

A rip off and con do not use them

I can honestly say I have been travelling to Spain 2/3 times per year for 18 years and I have never felt so ripped off and treated with contempt in my life.

The car they provided me with was battered it has scratches bumps, all the way down both sides of the car. I picked it up at 9.30 at night so could not check the damage so i got up early the following morning to take pictures. Silly me for not going under the car to see if it had scratches underneath and for not measuring the scratch that was the full length of the drivers side.

They accused us of making the scratch longer and for a scratch underneath the car under the boot. We were prepared to get the police and miss our flight to contest this, She eventually went on line and checked previous pictures and confirmed all the damage was already there.

It is a complete con and rip if I would not under any circumstances use them again, They also charged me 40 euros for the privilege of picking their car up after 8 pm as this is classed as out of hours and is in the small print of the agreement so I had no choice. Do not whatever you do use them as they are literally looking to fleece you for everything.
