Mobility access was ridiculous - you have a dropped outside that is blocked by buses, a ramp long ramp that leads to metal stairs (so what was the point of that?!) the staff were rude, we waited 30 minutes for food and chippy food for restaurant prices.
Its a lovey place to chill out in with a great menu of food available, But the toilets are terrible and smelly in the mans, couldn't see any ventilation.

Went to see a buddy of mine who is on his 4th Chemo and suffering, and took him for lunch. We asked to sit near a window so were shown into a large light room. Ordering was simple and the starters came up promptly, noticed a dog sat under the table next to us.. The milk shake i had was 30% squirt cream and was at room temperature. Ok, then more dogs came in and two started to fight. Main course I ordered the fish pie. Honestly 80% potatoes and cheese sauce. More dogs arrived and the place became a free for all. The service was polite and i drew the waitress attention to the £18 fish pie that cost 75p to make, she offered a free coffee. My mate got accosted at the door by more dogs when trying to escape. Why were we shown into a room without being asked if we wanted to eat in a kennel? and at nearly £70 only the speed of service and politeness of the staff avoided 1 star.
We moved to Highcliffe in March 2024 and our favourite venue for food ,entertainment, atmosphere and friendly service is the Cliffhanger by far .
Their food is homemade and delicious with a menu to suit all tastes and dietary requirements.
The quiz nights are a real 'hoot' and represent good value for money as a meal is provided within the price .
In addition we've also enjoyed the music nights and recently the cookery demonstration by celebrity chef , Lesley Waters .

Last night was a Robbie WIlliams and Michael Buble tribute act. A great night, fantastic food and perfect service, many thanks to Amanda. We go there a lot and can highly recommend it.
