Avoid This Clinic Under Any Circumstances! Unprofessional Experience with “Super Mario” Dentist – Torrevieja, Spain
I had a long dental treatment with Dr. Mario in Torrevieja from November 2022 to October 2025 and it turned into a very disappointing and stressful experience.
All treatment was paid for in advance — thousands of euros for implants and crowns. However, some of the implants were never placed and instead a cheaper bridge treatment was offered, with no refund or compensation for the difference.
During my many visits from abroad, Dr. Mario often showed a bad temper and behaved unprofessionally. Because he doesn’t speak English, everything had to go through his assistant, who often looked uncomfortable translating as conversations turned into arguments.
On one visit in July 2025, after I politely asked about the money owed, Dr. Mario abruptly left the room and I was told to leave the clinic despite everything I had already paid. Later, he denied making my dental guard and even tried to charge me again for a crown that had already been paid for — until his own records proved otherwise.
After nearly three years of treatment, I left feeling disrespected, overcharged and humiliated.
Avoid this clinic under any circumstances — for the money paid, you could receive far better treatment, care and respect elsewhere!
