We charge no up-front fees and no subscription fees. You only pay us after we successfully match you with a preceptor and you accept the match. Our matching platform is fully automated. After creating a free account, you can enter your profile information, then submit as many placement requests as you want, at no cost. The system will match your placement requests with preceptors who meet your criteria and contact those preceptors on your behalf. Preceptors may then send you offers, which you may accept or decline, after reviewing the preceptor's CV.

Don't waste your money!!!

I paid the $2,000,00 for a match. Then had to make the excruciating decision to drop out of the NP program. I intend to continue pursuing my MSN. Clinicalmatchme will not refund my money because "they set up a match". The practicum was cancelled 6 weeks prior to the start date. The preceptor is appalled that the company will not refund for a practicum that will not occur. I have enough college debt; I can not afford to toss another $2,000.00 out the window.

In response to clinicalmatchme: yes, it is a good lesson for everyone to understand that if the preceptor had canceled there would be a refund. The preceptor certainly would have canceled for me. My bad for not reading the fine print, and what a shame for the loophole to exist. As also explained, I do not need another NP preceptor and no help finding a RN, MSN, mentor placement.
Clearly, your business feels it needs the money more than a college student. Best of luck to you!

Thank you for the feedback; we really appreciate it and we're genuinely sorry that you feel slighted. While we're disappointed in the 1-star review, the issue you point out may actually be helpful to future students, so we're glad to have the opportunity to address it here.

Unlike most of our competitors, we don't charge any up-front fees, nor any subscription fees. We only get paid after we've successfully matched a student and the student has accepted the match, which is exactly what happened with you. You hired us to do a job, we did the job, you paid, then you later decided to switch specialties, so you no longer needed the placement. Unfortunately, by that time we'd already completed our work and earned our fee.

Our refund policy is very clear about this scenario. It's written in plain English, and published on our website. It also appears in standard-sized print (not "fine print" as you put it), in the simple one-page agreement you signed. The policy states that once we've matched you, and you've accepted the match, it's non-refundable. Your choice to not attend the practicum doesn't change the fact that we already did the work of placing you. There are specific exceptions, such as if your school rejects the preceptor, or if the preceptor cancels. In those cases, we're glad to issue a refund, because it means we didn't do our job. However, if you arbitrarily decide you no longer want the placement, due to some personal or professional reason, it's non-refundable. And no, most preceptors would not sacrifice their own professional reputation by canceling a rotation, to help a student get around our refund policy. When a preceptor cancels without just cause, we consider that unprofessional and would likely not send more students to that preceptor, so there's no "loophole" as you put it.

Although the placement is non-refundable, it doesn't necessarily mean you've lost your money. We always offer the option to reschedule a canceled placement for a future date. There's no cost to reschedule if it's more than 90 days in advance of your original state date. Once you're within 90 days of your start date, you can reschedule for a 25% fee. We understand from your response that you're currently unable to use this credit. However, we're expanding into offering many new products and services to healthcare workers, so perhaps you'll be able to use it in the future. We'll be glad to apply the full value of the credit toward any future purchase.

Dino is super nice and helpful

Dino is super nice and helpful. I hope in the future someone can coordinate with preceptors to speed up the process. It’s challenging as most preceptors don’t respond to emails.

Fast and easy to find clinical placement

Dino helped secure me a clinical site quickly and without stress. The preceptor he found me was excellent. Yes it wasn't ideal to have to pay for placement, but he was professional, responded quickly, and didn't take my money and then provide no service like another company did. I recommend using the service if you need help locating clinical placements

Dino was very unprofessional in the…

Dino was very unprofessional in the manner he addressed my desire to circumvent his services as he stated "actions have consequences" like ok Dad. Either you're a lion or a lamb and I chose to be a lion. Dino felt threatened by my actions and removed me from the list but isn't it physicians and clinicians civil duty to teach others? So charging is already unethical. Go use NP Hub they're cheaper and wider variety of choices.

We're sad to learn that you had a negative experience with our company. We fulfilled our end of the bargain by finding you a preceptor. You then tried to avoid paying our fee by propositioning the preceptor directly. You justify this by claiming it's the “civic duty” of preceptors to teach for free. Unfortunately, most preceptors can't afford to teach for free, which is why companies like ours exist and presumably why you hired us in the first place. Moreover, you contradict yourself by claiming it's “unethical” to charge for precepting, yet you yourself offered to pay our preceptor directly.

Unlike most of our competitors, we only get paid after we successfully match a student with a preceptor. Since we charge neither up-front fees nor subscription fees, the matching fee is our only source of revenue. We believe this is the fairest possible approach, and it incentivizes us to work hard on your behalf. However, it requires that all participants act in good faith. Trying to avoid paying us, after we complete the work, is not acting in good faith. It's an abuse of our service and a violation of our Terms of Service, so we terminated your account.
