I used this car service on 7/08/2022 to…

I used this car service on 7/08/2022 to drop myself and my 8 year old daughter to Gatwick Airport and this is how my nightmare of a journey went;

I called up on Saturday afternoon originally Redline who passed me onto these people to prebook a car I was told the cost would be £50 I thought WOW cheap. On the morning of being picked up I was told by the driver it was £86. Called up the cab office to be again confronted by a rude man telling me I can get out of the cab and get an Uber which is what I should of done. Instead of continuing with such a horrifically and disgusting journey.

Absolutely disgusting Upon arrival he did not want to help me with my case to place it in the boot of the car I had to ask if the boot was opened and then he came to help. I was with my 8 year old daughter. The car was filthy and dirty I was told the day before that the price to Gatwick north terminal was £50 only to be told it was £86 by the driver. The driver then made a Pitt stop in Putney to go to a chicken peri peri takeaway where he proceeded to eat the chicken and drive at the same time. To then pull over and throw his food rubbish out of the car window once he has finished. Upon arrival at Gatwick airport he sat in the car whilst I struggled to get my cases out with my 9 year old daughter. Absolutely disappointing and disgusting service which I paid £85 for because I did not have £1 on me. Feels like I have been ripped off after years of using this cab service Harlesden branch to always take us to the airport . The service used to be so nice 20 years ago , how disappointing now.

Bearing in mind there is no costumer service to complain to at all when I called up on the same morning to complain the man on the line was just blasé about it he didn’t care one bit.

Would definitely not recommend this service to anyone especially if your a female with heavy luggage and with a young child.

Extremely unprofessional service

Extremely unprofessional service. I pre-booked a taxi (5 days prior to pick-up). The taxi did not turn up on time and I was recurrently told there was a delay - eventually the car turned up 2 hours late! The driver was very rude and demanded a higher price than what was agreed by the taxi office - he was very intimidating and continually raised his voice. To top it all off, he dropped me off at the wrong destination (15 min walk from where I needed to be!) I would not recommend this service at all.

Unreliable

Booked for an airport run- which the controller knew - and despite his assurances my car did not show up or call- you can’t speak to anyone and get an automated message - ended up using a fantastic Bolt which was £10 cheaper! BOOK AT YOUR OWN RISK!

Bad unprofessional service

Booked a car from airport to bring me home in advance to be prepared, had the confirmation for the car to pick me up at 5pm from the airport. I think they simply forgot because when I called the first time they told me to grab my luggage and wait, but when I called again they said I had to wait 80 minutes! Basically, the car left when I called them despite the booking...I asked for another car that was closer to the airport, but they told me there wasn't and to take a bus (I had heavy luggage). I ended up taking another taxi from there and paying way more than if I had booked with another taxi service a bit more expensive then Clockcars in the first place..

Brilliant service

Brilliant service, great drivers and I totally recommende to Use them for a return journey to airport. On the way back my flight was delayed by several hours, they tracked it and send the driver on time. The driver was very pleasant and friendly. Thank you so much for all your help and I would highly recommend this service to anyone looking for a transfer or airport pickup and other local services.

I have been using Clock Cars for years…

I have been using Clock Cars for years and their service is amazing! They have very friendly drivers who are always on time to airport trips or local. The controllers are also very helpful. I definitely recommend using their services!

Good called by a very very rude man at 18:47hrs to be told that he would be 40;mins and he was the only driver left no sorry nothing

I booked a minicab with Clock Cars of…

I booked a minicab with Clock Cars of Neasden on 6th Aug to pick up my sister, and her 3 grandchildren (18, 16 and 10 yrs) who were arriving at London Heathrow Terminal 2 with JUST HAND BAGGAGE, and gave the Flt Number and arrival time. The operator confirmed the price of £27 that it would be a "small car" and added £9 parking charge as I did not have a mobile number for my sister. I also asked that the driver take the fare from me.
My sister's flight arrived on time and she was out in exactly 40 mins, but could not see any cab driver and had to go looking for him, leaving her grand children at the spot where she should have seen the driver with her name on the board. She located him in the Cafe 34 mins AFTER she was out from Customs.
On arrival at my house, the driver charged her £53 (according to him, he had to park for almost 2 hours, not mentioning that 1 hour parking was already included in the price quoted to me, and no mention that he was to take the fare from me!)
Subsequently on speaking to 2 different operators to enquire about the overcharge of £17, I was given ridiculous answers; and when I asked to speak to the Manager/operator who had taken my booking, I was told he was away for a week. When I didn't hear from him on his supposed return, I sent him an e-mail for an explanation. 3 weeks later, I am still waiting to hear from him.
I have used and recommended Clock Cars for a few years, but now, after the above episode, I am disgusted with their Customer Service, and put their worth of my custom as £17. On principle, I would NEVER USE THEIR COMPANY again.

Reviewing for Clock Cars - Wembley Minicabs

Really disappointing. The controller/operator was not pleasant at all - he failed to send the car to the airport on time despite my clear booking, he gave the driver the wrong information. When I called to check, he lied and said the driver had been waiting outside the airport - which not only doesn't make any sense but was also completely untrue. I gave the operator/controller every opportunity to just apologize for the confusion but he wasn't willing to listen at all. These kinds of interactions are the reasons people don't use minicab companies anymore. His defensiveness was completely unnecessary and aggressive, and will ensure that I don't use this service again.
