Upon receipt of my hanging baskets last…

Upon receipt of my hanging baskets last year i was extremely impressed as they looked so life like - fast forward a year. I contacted the company to explain that the flowers had faded and looked quite dejected! There was no vibrancy to them which i was extremely disappointed with as I spent a lot of money on them because I was led to believe that they would last several years! Waste of money as i have had to replace them! Very poor customer service - they didnt want to know - this is their response to the photos that i sent them - Upon review of your items, they do seem to have received some use in the outside, exposed to the elements! We do love that you are getting great use out of them! However, they do have cobwebs on them, and have likely been outside in the downpours we experience in the UK. We are thinking that misting with a weak soapy solution would help remove any dirt or cobwebs and give them a new lease on life! So basically dont put your hanging baskets outdoors as a spider may make a web on them or they may get rained on!!!! Dont worry though because you can fix the fading by misting them with soapy water!!!!! Ridiculous and a complete waster of money - dont bother buying from this company

Damaged Goods, No Refund, No Collection Arranged

I bought a fake purple Japanese maple tree from this company. When it arrived the box was open and had several holes in it. Inside the box the pot was badly damaged. I told the Tuffnells drive to take it back but he refused. I then reported the problem immediately to Lydia in Closer2Nature customer services and have since spoken to her seven times, sent 4 emails and six photographs. Lydia eventually agreed to have the tree collected and issue a refund. I have not been given an RMA number, when I asked Lydia why not I was assured that Lydia had personally arranged the collection with Tuffnells and that I did not need an RMA number but I merely had to put Closer2Nature's address on the box and it would be collected by 6pm today. It is after 6pm and Tuffnells have not collected the tree, I have no refund and clearly their customer service and product are rubbish. I will now have to take out a Section 75 with Amex. Avoid this company like the plague

Update the product has been collected but no refund yet and no contact from Closer2Nature. Fortunately Amex have initiated a cash back so I am not out of pocket

No replies, no customer service!

Order a door wreath with lights on offer, received ok but the battery compartment was cracked and broken, no sign of the missing piece inside box so I assume it was broken before transit, as this will be outside I’m not satisfied it would stand up to getting wet, apart from that I’m not satisfied with the wreath, I’ve emailed asking to return no reply, telephoned and asked to send photograph which I have done still no reply, promises from companies to listen to customers seem to not happen and cannot return item unless given permission and returned with RMA number. Still waiting but as it can’t be used it may very well end up on a rubbish tip site!

**UPDATE**

I have now received an email saying they will organise to refund me, once that has happened I will once again update this review as it will obviously resolve the issue, if/when that happens I will be much happier to order and use closer2nature once again. Thanks to Lydia who replied to original email.

***UPDATE***

It seems that the refund has now come, so the issue with product seems to have been resolved. Thank you.

Fake!!!!! Never!!! They look ‘REAL’.

I ordered 2 plants which I must say am delighted with. On my balcony you would never know my golden maple is fake!
I did have a problem with the delivery company, not delivering on time and then the package being damaged. Having said this I was given a goodwill refund of 20% which was greatly appreciated.
The product are excellent quality and are actually better than in the photos.
