Today the company runs one of the world’s largest networks that powers more than 10 trillion requests per month, which is nearly 10 percent of all Internet requests for more than 2.5 billion people worldwide. Cloudflare protects and accelerates any Internet application online without adding hardware, installing software, or changing a line of code. Worse than a Doctor's Receptionist!
Cloudflare is stopping me from getting into lots of required websites fro no apprarent good reason and I cannot get hold of anyone to help me! It's ridiculous! Absolutely sick of them affecting my daily work rate becasue their systems do not know who to steop and who to let through!

I rarely complain publicly about a service, but Cloudflare richly deserves the poorest possible ranking that a company can receive.
I signed up to use its services and pointed my business's website to its servers in order to speed up the website. To take better advantage of Cloudfare's offerings, I paid $240 for a premium plan instead of its basic plan, which is free.
But Cloudflare continued to indicate that I was on its free plan despite my making repeated efforts to complain about the matter on its online platform. I was therefore unable to use the features of the paid plan, which my business's website required.
After waiting about 2 days without receiving ANY response (other than an ad from a bot), I canceled the service, requested a refund, and explained why (namely, the service was never provided at all).
To this date, I have NEVER received any response to any of my requests. That is not poor customer service. That is nonexistent customer service.
Avoid this "company" like the plague, would be my advice.
Lord help you if you are enrolled on its platform and have a serious problem, since there is no possible way to contact anyone, and its bots do not work very well. At least, that was my experience.
As for me, I ended up moving my website from a slower host to a faster one and dispensing entirely with Cloudflare's system.
But in the meantime, I gave away $240 to Cloudflare, unless I want to take the time to sue it to recover my funds, which I do not.
"Outrageous", "galling”, and "abysmal" best describe this company's service.
Don't buy domains from them
Don't buy domains from them. Purchased 2 domains and they require an email confirmation which is never sent. Checked all the folders and spam, promotions etc and there is no email from Cloudflare, tho they deactivated both domains and not answering any support requests.
THEE WORST SPAM/PHISHING FACILITATOR ON…
THEE WORST SPAM/PHISHING FACILITATOR ON THE PLANET. Russian mafiosos? (REG.RU for example.) No problem, says CRIMEFLARE. On top of that, CRIMEFLARE IGNORES COMPLAINTS. Here's the boilerplate you get:
"Cloudflare offers network service solutions including pass-through security services, a content distribution network (CDN) and registrar services. Due to the pass-through nature of our services, our IP addresses appear in WHOIS and DNS records for websites using Cloudflare. Cloudflare does not generally serve as a hosting provider, does not organize or alter content, and does not have the ability to remove content hosted by others.
To ensure the prompt processing of your abuse report we request that you please submit your abuse report through Cloudflare's abuse reporting web form"...
Translation: CRIMEFLARE SHIELDS CYBERCRIMINALS. It HIDES them behind an impenetrable wall of secrecy, making "their" slice - which is HUGE - of the internet entirely opaque. ICAAN regulations - international LAW for the internet, so to speak - requires an abuse contact (abuse at cloudflare dot com, in this case), and it requires Cloudflare to take ACTION on complaints of violations. But just like GoDaddy aka CRIMEDADDY, instead of obeying the "law", CRIMEFLARE pushes you to their webform while letting you know that your emailed complaint will drift in some indefinite limbo, to be dealt with by automation, IF AT ALL. Just like the CRIMEFLARE DARK WEB, there's no transparency from these San Francisco USA (!!! obey AMERICAN law, you shysters!!) techbros.
Cloudflare is the worst piece of crap…
Cloudflare is the worst piece of crap since the beginning of mankind. I am using NordVPN and with that cloudflare is the biggest pain in the butt ever. Their stupid verification doesn't work and makes my life miserable. Go to hell
Absolute crap
Absolute crap, their captcha blocks users who use browsers with stricter than default privacy settings.
ABSOLUTE CRAP!
ABSOLUTE CRAP!
Mozilla based browser, such as Firefox, waterfox etc., just can't get Cloudflare to function right!
I'm sick of the 'prove you're a human', stupidness!
Come on Cloudflare, write AND TEST your trashy software on ALL browser!😡

They just keep closing the support tickets without resolution.I have two support tickets regarding billing for more than 3 months.
I am being blocked
I am being blocked, supposedly to protect against cyber attacks. You can send a request by email what is wrong, but there is no email adress to be found. No possibility to get in touch. I wanted to order something at The Australian Foodshop, but now I don't bother anymore. Bye bye foodshop and as for Cloudfare, please don't engage with them, they only cost you customers.
Absolute crap
Absolute crap. Cannot access sites at all that use this rubbish. Yes, I've done everything recommended but the captcha just keeps going round and round. Very frustrating being blocked from websites for no reason whstsover. Utterly futile.

Trying to host my website…
Trying to host my website lexiebella.net from their web server and due to technical problems on their end it won't show. Worst of all is the AI response, give me a break if I'm complaining about something more than once obviously your AI couldn't solve it.
Absolutely terrible experience
Absolutely terrible experience with Cloudflare. For some reason it blocks the fingerprinting for one browser but not another, so it's not an IP issue.
I've had this issue about Cloudflare telling me verification failed for many months now, despite not doing anything suspicious.
Not to mention when there's an outage, half the internet is down. We need to decentralize, not centralize to this excuse of a security service.
A company that needs to fix its hardware.
Cloudfare does not let me access websites that have stable connections. I just tried to log in to GasBuddy.com but Cloudfare wouldn't let me. They need to get their software straight.
Complaint
Complaint: Cloudflare Registrar is holding my paid domain registration hostage due to system errors, with no accessible support path
On March 5, 2026, I purchased a domain through Cloudflare Registrar. I paid for this service. WHOIS records confirm Cloudflare, Inc. as the registrar and myself as the registrant. However, Cloudflare's systems have completely failed to deliver the service I paid for, and they provide no accessible path to resolve the issue.
The Problem:
Cloudflare's Registrar system and DNS zone system are two separate systems that do not properly communicate with each other. When a customer purchases a domain, the Registrar system assigns one pair of nameservers at the registry level. When the customer adds a DNS zone, the zone system assigns a different pair. These are supposed to sync automatically — but they routinely do not. This is a known, widespread issue documented across Cloudflare's community forums.
In my case, the failure is even more severe: my domain registration is completely orphaned from my account. Cloudflare's own API returns the error "Domain doesn't belong to the user" when I attempt to manage the domain I paid for. The Manage Domains page in my dashboard shows zero registered domains. I cannot unlock the domain, change nameservers, or obtain a transfer authorization code.
As a result, my zone is stuck in "pending" status with mismatched nameservers, and my business email and website have been completely offline since I attempted to activate the domain.
Why This Is a Product Design Failure, Not a User Error:
No self-serve fix exists. When Cloudflare is both the registrar and DNS provider, the dashboard removes the ability to change nameservers — the system assumes it handles this automatically. When it fails, there is no manual override, no button, and no API endpoint the customer can use to fix it.
Cloudflare's own documentation acknowledges the problem. Their docs state: "If you acquired your domain from Cloudflare Registrar, your domain already uses Cloudflare nameservers automatically." This is presented as a guarantee. When it fails, the only guidance is "contact Cloudflare Support."
Support is inaccessible. Despite paying for a domain registration (a paid service), Cloudflare's support system classifies me as a "free plan user" because my DNS zone is on the free tier. The registrar side — a paid service — is lumped in with free support. I have opened two support tickets with no response. The support email address auto-replies that they no longer accept requests. The ticket dashboard is inaccessible to free plan users. Live chat and phone support are reserved for paid plan tiers.
Transfer away is blocked. Under ICANN's Registrar Transfer Policy, a registrar must provide an authorization code upon request so a customer can transfer their domain to another registrar. Because my registration is orphaned from my account, I cannot access the tools to unlock my domain or obtain this code. Cloudflare is effectively holding my domain hostage.
Financial Impact:
My business email and website are completely offline. I am unable to conduct business, communicate with clients, or generate revenue. This has caused direct financial harm.
Desired Resolution:
Re-attach my domain registration to my account
Update the registry nameservers to match my zone's assigned nameservers
Activate my zone so my email and website resume functioning
Alternatively, provide me with my transfer authorization code so I can move my domain to a registrar that provides adequate service
Actions Already Taken:
Opened two Cloudflare support tickets — no response
Attempted all available API endpoints — blocked by permissions or "Domain doesn't belong to the user"
Posted on Cloudflare Community Forum — awaiting response
Filed ICANN complaint for violation of Registrar Transfer Policy
Tried to transfer a domain from GoDaddy…
Tried to transfer a domain from GoDaddy to Cloudflare and paid for 1 year of Pro services ($240.00). The services were to be used developing my domain.
The domain transfer was never completed and after multiple exchanges with support to no avail, I requested a refund. They then stopped responding to my emails.
Now, every month, they send me an invoice for 0 due (I paid for a year), so I expect that they will attempt to charge my card next year. I have no idea how to proceed!
AWFUL company!
Loop-hole in Support System & Shifting Responsibility: Charging Issues Unresolved for Free Tier
I am extremely frustrated with Cloudflare's billing support and its broken customer service system.
An unjustified or erroneous billing issue occurred on my account. When I reached out to resolve it, I was caught in an endless loop of buck-passing (shifting responsibility) between the Cloudflare Community Forum, email support, and the billing ticket system.
Every channel keeps telling me to submit a ticket via the official dashboard. However, because I am on the free tier, the system completely blocks me from accessing proper support channels. Every time I attempt to submit a formal billing dispute, the dashboard fails to redirect to their Salesforce support portal, rendering it impossible to submit the required details.
Although I later received an automated email stating that my request was "recorded," there has been absolutely no actual progress, feedback, or human response. The system is designed to ignore non-enterprise users, even when Cloudflare's own system makes a billing error.
I demand a human billing representative contact me immediately to resolve this ticket and fix the systemic loop-hole that prevents users from protecting their financial rights.

Conversion killer. 2025 update is a disaster for business.
Cloudflare has become a nightmare for small business owners. Since their 2025 updates, their "anti-bot" protection acts more like a "customer repellent." The system constantly flags modern browsers as "outdated," forcing users to update software they are already comfortable with. We are losing real customers every day because people simply close the tab instead of fighting with their endless loops and captchas. It’s slow, it’s buggy, and it’s killing our conversion rates. There are plenty of alternatives that actually distinguish bots from humans without annoying the latter. So now it's a Conversion killer. 2025 update is a disaster for business - Goodbye Cloudflare, hello lost customers. And if they will not change this or return original settings - we are moving away from Cloudflare.
