I’m extremely disappointed with the way…

I’m extremely disappointed with the way ClubWise has handled my cancelled membership. Despite cancelling properly, they have continued attempting to set up a direct debit on my account. This is completely unacceptable and very frustrating.

Once a membership has been cancelled, there should be no further attempts to take payment or create a direct debit mandate. It feels unprofessional and gives the impression that the system either isn’t being managed properly or that customer cancellations are not being respected.

I have already confirmed that my membership is cancelled, yet the attempts to set up payments continue. This has caused unnecessary stress and wasted time trying to resolve something that should have been straightforward.

I would strongly advise others to keep a close eye on their bank accounts if dealing with ClubWise and make sure any cancellations are fully processed. This experience has seriously damaged my trust in how they handle customers and their payment systems.

Sorry to hear you had this experience Andy. Here at ClubWise we are instructed by gyms and health clubs – our customers, to collect payments.
We collect membership fees from their member’s accounts, process those payments and then pass them on to the club. This is why ClubWise will appear on your bank statement rather than your clubs name. We will only ever take a payment your gym or health club has asked us to.
Also, ClubWise is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). This means that we are held to a high standard of conduct when dealing with your direct debits, and that we are obligated to treat all of our customers and their members fairly and respectfully with no hidden fees or difficult contracts.
If for any reason you incur a problem with your payment or direct debit, please go directly to your gym to discuss it. If you still require further information, please get in touch with us:

Absolute horrendous provider! Slow glitchy system, staff don’t respond to you even after multiple attempts! Mistakes in the software that have cost the company lots of money to which they don’t seem to take seriously!!

AVOID!

AVOID!! Be aware that this company will continue taking payments without acknowledging cancellation requests. They do not respond to emails or confirm the end of memberships, and even after formal notice, they keep charging your account. When you cancel your direct debit as a last resort, they issue arrears letters despite having been informed of the cancellation. It is surprising that they are allowed to operate in this manner.

Fraudulent transaction

There was a fraudulent transaction on my bank account by Clubwise as direct debit of £52. I am not a member of any club but I don't know how they got my details and apply direct debit on my account. I reported to my bank and I send them emails as well. Waiting for their response.

Who the hell are these Guys?

Who the hell are these Guys?

I've just found a new direct debit set up, no contact from them and they're just taking money from my account for no reason, based on the other reviews here something very fishy is going on.

Amount was exactly the same as my anytime fitness membership so i wonder if it's a scam?

Cancelled direct debit and they…

Cancelled direct debit and they re-instated it. They will constantly tell you to go back to the gym/club you signed up with but they are a law unto themselves. Person put the phone down on me when I complained and said that the gym had notified them of the cancellation 2 months ago. Avoid at all costs

Fraudulent company

Persistently set back up cancelled direct debits and when their account details are blocked they use different account details to do so. Avoid any company with association to these fraudsters.
