Absolutely terrible experience, I rejoined their Beta program to generate leads and not only was the customer support and service terrible, the lead quality was garbage. I asked for phone numbers from the leads the sales agent refused to provide that and I asked for leads that were US based and they kept giving me India, Dubai, etc. I spent over $2,000 and didn't get even a single phone call out of it. Complete waste of time and money.

I received this message from Clutch team. Is this normal? Are they holding the reviews until they get paid? also their paid leads and placement program was a scam I had to change the credit card to stop the service.

I have very mixed feelings about this platform. On the one hand, it's a great platform, but on the other, there's a lot of seemingly unverified information there. Sometimes I look at company listings — the top ones, I assume, should be the best of the best, but there are fly-by-night companies there that don't have a decent website (one or two pages), no projects in their portfolios or case studies, no client reviews. How do they get there, and most importantly, why even show them at the top? Do something about them separately; there's no guarantee they'll complete the project, and you're mixing them up with trustworthy companies.

I wrote a review about an agency I work with on Clutch and received an email saying it had been received and would be reviewed for editorial standards. It's now 9 days later and I haven't heard anything and my review hasn't been published. Their support team did not personally respond to my inquiry and instead sent me a form email that didn't apply to my circumstance.

I have since logged into their portal and cannot find the review that I wrote. The agency I wrote it for said that they've had this happen with other clients.

So Clutch seems to have a buggy system that prevents it's main use case -- writing reviews for agencies -- from being realized.

If I were an agency, I would never purchase this tool because it's reliable and can be frustrating for clients who take the time to write a review for them and have it completely disappear into the nether.

Clutch.co provides no clear in-dashboard cancellation; the path is effectively hidden. Before auto-renewal, I received no timely notice. A charge was scheduled, but I had unlinked my card in advance, so no actual debit occurred.

This falls short of Washington, DC requirements for annual auto-renewals (advance notice with a clear cancellation route) and the federal ROSCA standard for simple cancellation mechanisms.

Please cancel the renewal/invoice, confirm my subscription is disabled, and make online cancellation obvious.

The Clutch team is great, and so is the platform.
