coach amazing, driver ok
the coach was amazing, comfortable, plenty of room and to a high standard. The coach driver was annoyed at where he had to pik us up from and dropped off away from the location, leaving children under 5 to make there way through a busy hospital car park

Gave our quote to a scam operator
Gave our quote to a scam operator, who then cancelled our booking an hour before departure leaving 30 people stranded. Also promised a return journey which again cancelled. When ringing coach hire direct for support we recieved no help at all as we didnt get them the money, even though this is one of their operators who they have apparently worked with for years. Do not trust this company or Transporter Travel (the operator in question)

The coaches we used were clean, neat and tidy. The drivers were prompt and courteous. The driver on our return trip helped one of our guests who needed it, with dignity and kindness.

Poor experience
Paid £100 deposit then needed to change the time, this then involved the possibility of a second coach being sent out and an extra fee. I asked to cancel and have a refund- but didn't get a response.

I have spoken to the Coach Operator and discussed this matter.
I can see that the return journey time was changed from the original quote. The additional hours meant that the Coach Operator would need to provide an extra driver for the trip. Coach drivers are only permitted to work for a certain time period by law. This is for the safety of the passengers and the public. The additional time, required an extra driver which resulted in increased cost.
The Coach Operator tried to accommodate your request by changing departure times in the morning but these were declined. The Coach Operator did not want to lose your custom as they had turned down work to cater for this booking. The Coach Operator received an email stating that unfortunately the booking would need to be cancelled and an apology was given for the inconvenience caused to the Coach Operator.
Coach Operators will always try and be flexible and accommodate requests to changes of times and pick up points, however when additional costs are incurred such as additional drivers Coach Operators have no option other than to provide a new quote for the service required.
As stated above issues like this are usually resolved and a solution is found however, on this occasion no solution was found due to budget constraints.
