I own an interntional travel agency and I needed a coach for 54 people during the Formula 1 Italian Grand Prix this year (4 days). Our driver, Khalil, was the best! Always on time, friendly and very resourceful. We are already planning our next year's trip and we are definitely hiring Coach Rental (I Viaggi di Chris Tour) again!

I rented a bus at coacherental.it in Rome for my friend's wedding. I can say that I was very satisfied. Excellent prices, efficient, kind and friendly staff but above all latest generation buses with all the comforts: comfortable and reclining seats, USB sockets for charging mobile phones, TV. The trip was very comfortable. I highly recommend it, even for a few day tour 😉

We have been lucky to travel the world with the Olympic Training Center Selection Program and Coach Rental was the safest, cleanest & most professional service we have ever used.

We are a group of 17 for 10 days tour in Rome and Florence, for the comfort of our guests, we have got an upgrade of a bus with 25 seats. Driver is excellent and care of every aspects for our group. With a very fair price as well.

We are group of nurses from the U.K. on a community tour - 55 of us. I arranged a coach with Coach Rentals IT, through Paolo (the only person that I got to liaise with). Our group wanted to tour around Italy - Amalfi Coast, Caserta, Pompeii, Naples, Padre Pio Rotondo for 7 days, 27 Aug - 2 Sept 2023. We were given a quote which was agreed & I paid the deposit for in advance about a year ago, then closer the time he denied the booking being accepted, so had to send him the deposit payment receipt.

It’s a complicated journey arrangement in the Amalfi Coast as the roads were very narrow & was agreed that 2 small vehicles would take our group to Amalfi x1 day & to Positano for another day from Naples where our group is based. Then the rest of the week x1 big coach.

Closer the time, after I paid the total agreed amount, I was told that they would only drop us off to two towns on separate days as a new rule coming out in Positano & Amalfi that disallowed the vehicles to collect in the afternoon. I requested a copy of this guideline - but was sent some documents in Italian which was dated 2013 - that I couldn’t understand.

Gave Paolo a benefit of the doubt so I told our group that we would only be dropped off in the morning but had to pre-book a ferry to travel from Amalfi and Positano in the afternoon to Sorento where the coach would pick us up.

Then few days before our arrival, I was told that the coach would only drop us off in Sorrento in the morning and wait for us there when we return in the afternoon - so was bound to buy ferry tickets return in both days we are visiting Positano & Amalfi. The costs of the tickets were expensive.

There was adverse weather condition on days we intended to visit Positano and Amalfi as ferries were cancelled for 3 days, so I requested Paolo to send us transport - smaller vehicles x1 day for Positano (as we already missed Amalfi on our schedule) which he did but had to pay 2040€ cash. I felt I had no choice, or the group would be stuck - so I paid the amount in cash.

Then I realised, that was the original plan anyway, and the additional cash payment was unnecessary had he complied with the original offer/quote. These smaller vehicles dropped us off to Positano in the morning & collected us in the afternoon. So our group concluded that Paolo took advantage of us being first timers in the area.

We were also forced to pay 2€ per person/day for the tip (14€ pp for 7 days) which the amount was never indicated in the contract. When I stated that it should be discretionary, and called him up to discuss things, he never spoke spoke to me. I could only liaise with him through WhatsApp. The tip costed 770€ & the collection from the group was only 300€ and I had to cover the rest of it to keep the peace.

I also paid 50€ per day for the driver’s meal which I didn’t mind but again the amount was never discussed in the offer. The driver’s tip and meal allowance I paid over a thousand €uros in cash as I felt obligated to do & had no choice.

Then I was shocked with the costs of permits & parking charges - 1460€ paid in cash to keep the tour going. The amount was never indicated in the offer. I was briefed on our WhatsApp conversation that it would roughly be 700€. When I asked Paolo about the receipts and documents of permit and parking, he never provided me with those, instead he sent me a receipt from his company with the total cost. He was never transparent. My worry was if I disputed these negotiations while on tour, the company would leave us without transport, so had to keep the peace.

I wanted to see him & talked to him in person while on tour but without success.

There were some minor changes with the itinerary swapping the days over & moving places around the schedule as the weather was unfavourable to begin with, & was agreed without additional costing but, I heard from the driver (perhaps a slip of the tongue) that the coach was being utilised for other groups, these were on days that I paid the permit & parking for the coach to wait for us at parking areas after our visits to certain places. When we visited Capri island the coach would have been free for 10 hrs in Naples,
when visited Positano the coach would have been free for 7 hours. In fact never stayed at a parking area in Sorento as mentioned by the driver.
I was charged to pay for parking the whole day which was perhaps never used.

This has now been escalated through to my credit card company as the service agreed/indicated in the contract/quote was defaulted by
Coach RentaL IT.

I wouldn’t recommend this company. Paolo lied & took advantage of my group. When we, nurses just wanted to treat ourselves after going though the horrible pandemic, we were deceived big time, treated unfairly and taken advantage of. This is beyond my comprehension.

I hope no one will go through what we experienced - never again with this company. Please avoid this company!!!

Travelling from Australia we were in need of a large bus for 40+ guests from Bordeaux (France) centre to our event venue approx 1.5 hours away. I came across Coach Rental via a Google search and received what I considered to be a great quote for what we were looking for. Although the company had limited reviews online, we proceeded with the booking due to the prompt and professional service provided throughout the enquiry process.
On the day we had an amazing English driver Patrick who met us at the agreed location ahead of time. The bus was modern and clean, with Patrick providing great insights/commentary into the region on our journey to and from our destination. This was particularly well received as all guests were travelling from abroad.
Highly recommend.

We had a family trip of 15 people for 6 days using CoachRental IT. Our driver, Francesco, was great, friendly and very communicative. We really appreciated all of his effort and adjustments to make our trip enjoyable. He worked to accommodate the physical needs of our group, which included making some changes to drop-off locations for those who couldn't walk as far. It was very helpful! Thank you!!! The company was easy to work with and responded quickly to all of my many questions. The buses we had were not new and thus a little loud and less comfortable, but overall our experience was very positive.

I rented a bus for my brother's birthday. Everything was perfect: impeccable service, extraordinary drivers and above all a really helpful staff.
I recommend everyone to use the coach rental service.

The service was always right on time. Good drivers, but none of them spike English, but all went well. If there is anything, then one of the busses was not very clean, therefore 4 stars

Very unprofessional. Demanded 175 EUR in cash less than 12 hours before our trip, but did not accept bank payment. Also, they delete all negative reviews and add their own positive ones. I wouldn't trust this company.

The company demanded 200€ in cash 12 hours before the trip. As we are a student organization we need to bookkeep all transactions, so we asked for them to send an invoice instead. The company refused to send an invoice, and demanded cash. The bus driver turned off the AC and would not let us leave the bus until we had paid in cash. The company threatened to call the police. In the end we decided to pay the money to be allowed to leave the bus, as this was a very uncomfortable experience.
