My husband passed away in May and on meeting kevin with my two daughters we were completely put at ease that my beloved husband would be well looked after and the whole process through to the cremation was done with compassion and care. His reading of our life together was as if he knew Colin and all our congregation commented on his rendition. His wife Ann is also very kind and thoughtful

Kevin and Ann gave us excellent service. They were kind and considerate, listened and understood the family’s wishes at a difficult time. It was very reassuring to know we were in such capable hands. I have no hesitation in recommending them.

We had the unfortunate situation of arranging both our beloved elderly parent’s funerals within 5 months of each other and by chance we contacted Kevin Cobbold. We are so pleased and grateful that we did. From the first moment Kevin met with us to discuss mums funeral arrangements we felt at ease. His warm and compassionate approach shone through from the start and nothing was too much trouble for him and his team. He made a special visit to meet and speak to my 93 year old father who was devastated at the loss of the woman he had loved for more than 72 years. Kevin was so kind and caring and showed great compassion and understanding so our Dad felt comfortable speaking to him. Although heartbroken, Dad said what a lovely service it was. The minute detail Kevin and his team went into to make the day as easy on us all, especially Dad, was amazing. So when Dad passed away just 5 months later Kevin was our first call. He had fond memories of meeting Dad and he came personally to collect Dads body from the house and once again met with us to make the arrangements. We felt like a friend was with us organising and guiding us, and along with his wife Ann, they made the most difficult time seem so much easier. They were always ready to help or just have a chat about our parents. The thoughtful extra words and personal touches Kevin put into the services showed how truly dedicated and caring he is and how well he understood what was important to us as a family. They were so quick at responding to emails and queries and even arranged extra copies of the EDP for us with the funeral announcement. If ever 2 people were cut out to do this job it is Kevin and Ann and we cannot recommend their service highly enough. We are truly thankful that we discovered them, and we cannot recommend them highly enough. We felt our parents deserved the very best send off and we feel that’s exactly what they received. Thank you Kevin, Ann and your lovely team for the beautiful services you provided and for looking after our Mum and Dad so well, we truly appreciate it.

I recently lost my wife and as a family, had to plan her funeral. From the time she was collected from the hospital until the service, I had total support from Kevin and his team. Whilst she was in the Chapel of Rest, they knew how important it was for me to visit her each day, and even opened up over the weekend and Bank Holiday. Another example, her favourite flower were daffodils and, unfortunately, we were right on the end of the season. However, they went out of their way to try to help me source a bunch. On the front of their brochure it says "Compassionate and Dedicated", which exactly sums up my experience, and I can't recommend or thank them enough for the service we were given.

I don't know why it's taken me so long to sit and write this review for Kevin and Ann. I honestly think it's because I'm worried that whatever I say won't do them justice...won't convey just how amazing they are. Two of the kindest, most caring people...there for us every minute of the day when we needed their help.
When my son died suddenly at the age of 38 it was the first funeral I'd ever arranged. A neighbour and friend recommended Kevin Cobbold Funeral Services and I'm so grateful that they did.
Kevin helped us arrange a wonderful send off for Andrew. He made it a perfect day for him and even helped orchestrate a funeral procession of 40 gas heating vans to follow behind the hearse as my son was a heating engineer and loved by so many.
Kevin was the celebrant at Andrews service and every word was delivered with caring, compassion and even humour when required. I didn't want flowers so Kevin suggested having my sons metal detector laying on the coffin as Andrew was a keen detectorist.
Everything was perfect...from the procession to the music and memorial slideshow....somehow he even arranged for the sun to shine for Andrew.
I can't thank Kevin and Ann enough for everything they did for us. Since that day I've called in to see them and their lovely dog just to say "hello" and update them on how life has been since losing Andrew. I feel that we didn't find a funeral director that day...we found two new friends.

I have been unfortunate to use Kevin twice this year and I cant rate him high enough, both very different funerals but Kevin and his team made it so special.he took away all the stress and dealt with everything professionally and with empathy

Kevin and Ann went the extra mile with us. What was an extremely tragic death was dealt with in a kind compassionate and understanding way. Nothing was too much trouble and they made us feel as though we were the only family they had to arrange a funeral for.
They really do go the extra mile I can thank them enough.

Kevin and Ann provided a sensitive and caring service with clarity, guidance, flexibility and support throughout this process which has been invaluable. We were all really pleased with the way every aspect of the day turned out (as I think Dad would also have been) and many friends also commented on how fitting and lovely the service was.
