Cocktails in the City Reviews 

This is a really great festival i have been going for the last 3 years. Each year they seem to do better with the vendors and this year even had really good food vendors which is great as good food is needed at this event. The margerita masterclass was a great change this year. Loved it.

One negative is that the toilets are still very bad quality. These are still port cabins and i would expect a good festival like this to upgrade this. Considering a lot of drinks are involved and especially for women its not very appealing to use the toilets.

The whole set-up is great and the choice of cocktails is amazing! I would have given a 5* review but the loos are horrible. You can get much better temporary loos, so please find a better supplier for next time.

I went in not expecting more than walking around different stalls and tasting different drinks but it was so much more than that! They had tasting tents where you get to sample unique alcohol such as English Sake and Indian Tequila, and they also had a margarita making class. I enjoyed myself so much that I'm actually considering going again in August! Plus I met many people who have been going for years which is always a great sign - it just goes to show how much people love the event. I'd recommend!

Great organisation and every year it just gets better. Love the bars, different high quality drinks and professionalism of all present/working there. Ooooh and the live music and silent disco - always fantastic.

Last year we were 3 friends, this year I invited 3 more - I was that expectant and the event did not fail. One of them does not drink and loved it and wants to return.

Looking forward to 2026.

The people were amazing! They really carried the vibe, the energy.
The set-up was lovely too and I liked the unique style each stall had, which really showcased their products. The drinks were obviously the highlight! It was well organised and there was a lot of things to do, from silent disco to ball games and a live band.
I also learned so much about drinks and certain cocktails and it was an experience definitely worth breaking my sober streak for ahaha

As always CITCLDN delivered! Having come to at least one event from the very beginning I can honestly say it's the highlight of my year! I always make new friends, either at one of the bars, or silent discoing till late! Ive had so many amazing cocktails and many tales to tell! Thanks to Andrew for bringing this all together and also the rest of the fabulous team. 100% recommend!

Size is the event is just right, just right amount going on to be fun but but chaotic, great cocktails, great fun

We've been to Cocktails in the city many times but it seemed more chaotic this year.
We tried to do a master class but there was loud music going on right beside it and it was impossible to hear the instructor. I even had great difficulty carrying out a conversation with one of the organisers when I mentioned this. There's a silent disco. There was no need for that level of noise, which spoiled what should have been a fun, casual night.

Great event very well organised with a good range of cocktails really enjoying trying different spirits and the atmosphere on the day! It was our first visit but will definitely be back!

This was our 4th year of Cocktails in the City, brilliant as always! We loved the new cocktail bars and the cocktail making experience. The Silent Disco was a hit with our grandchildren who are 4&1!
Looking forward to next year!

A relaxed vibe in a hidden beautiful garden in the west endbof London.

Amazing cocktail selection, lovely setting to sit, relax, and drink in.

I have been going for the last 3 years and this year felt a little meh. There was less seating and less vibe to the individual bars. The bars ran out of a lot of ingredients very quickly and most of the drinks were very similar.

It had great atmosphere and everyone was such fun to talk to.

Simply one of the best summer events in London, a fun and festive party in a beautiful and normally private garden square with a vast selection of delicious cocktails from the city’s best bars to choose from. Coupled with nice food and great sounds from the live band (or indeed the silent disco) it is the recipe for a perfect summer evening.

It was a great atmosphere lots of choice. A really interesting fun event.

We go to Cocktails in the City every year and this one was the best year yet. It did help that the weather was stunning for both weekends, and is there anything better than sipping alfresco cocktails from your favourite London bars in a beautiful park? Food was great this year, and our favourite cocktails were from Bourne & Hollingsworth and Quaglinos.

I didn’t know what to expect precisely. But the layout of the premises which was clearly defined and a very good planner inside the booklet received at the entrance made easy to locate everything, including practical demonstrations with tasting and the choice available from the food selection. People were helpful, very quick at making and serving cocktails and the entrance gives a token for two free drinks. Perhaps the system of purchasing tokens to buy drinks should be made more clear either on the booklet or with information on the premises.
The scattered sitting areas were also well thought out. With or without tables, no matter the crowd, there was a quick shift of people coming and going.
There is plenty to do, watch, listen and of course drink for one visit.
Also a selection of cocktails masterclasses were on offer for a fair price. The music selection was fun and a few games and spinning wheels offered even more entertainment.
Visitors were friendly and cheerful. A selection of different ages, all well behaved.
The garden square is not big but has its own mark with different shrubs and trees. Plenty of shading if needed and a little touch of ‘Magic Garden’ as a stage for a successful event.
