Started buying green coffee beans when given a home roaster and these three types of bean have been ideal for it. Not only do I have control of the level of roast, but can stock up with quite a lot of beans since green beans keep better than roasted ones (up to a couple of years I'm told!)

This is my favourite bean. I have bought others which I do really like but I keep coming back to this. I also use this a base for mixing just to try other blends.
Not had a bad coffee beans from bean shop.
The smoothest coffee I have tasted so far and very easy to roast for me as I'm a newbie roaster 🙂
These Peruvian beans are a great choice for the first time roaster - I had no idea what I was doing to start but managed to tell where in the process I was. Managed to overcook a batch and go much darker than I intended yet that experience helped me refine my method (and it was still perfectly drinkable). Dividing the beans into 62.5g lots means 1 kilo gives you 16 individual goes at trying different temperatures/roast duration etc. I find that aiming for a final weight of about 54g gives a nice tasty medium roast with decent complexity and a little bit of a chocolatey edge.
