Second payout denial using retroactive, undefined rules after approval

I’m writing this after 13+ days of back-and-forth, providing full MT5 logs, timestamps, and screenshots at the request of CoinFunded’s Risk Team.

This is my second payout denial with CoinFunded, and both denials followed the same pattern: rules being reinterpreted or introduced after the fact, only once a payout was requested.

Important clarification:
The only issue ever raised on my FUNDED account was stop-loss placement. That allegation was disproven with MT5 logs, and CoinFunded admitted all trades had stop losses placed within the 2-minute window their own support confirmed. After conceding this, they introduced a new “30–60 second immediacy” standard that is not written anywhere in the rules.

After those funded-account allegations failed, CoinFunded retroactively reopened an evaluation account that had already been manually reviewed and upgraded to FUNDED by their staff.

On that evaluation, they alleged:
• Martingale — proven factually incorrect and dropped
• Margin misuse — proven incorrect and dropped
• HFT — based on one manual/mobile discretionary trade during permitted high-impact news

CoinFunded leadership then stated in writing that:
• HFT has no written definition
• There is no minimum trade duration
• Enforcement is case-by-case
• The decision is based on their “choice,” not published rules

This single discretionary news trade was used to retroactively invalidate an already-approved evaluation and deny a funded payout, despite admitted risk-tool failure and no prior warning.

Given this is the second time a payout has been denied using shifting or unwritten standards, traders should be aware that approvals, evaluations, and even funded status can be reversed at payout based on discretionary interpretations.

Hi,

1. You utilised HFT in your challenge phase
2. We offered you a reset instead of a breach in your previous challenge as a show of goodwill
3. You did not enter a single trade with a stop loss whatsoever.

We have been more than lenient in offering you a free reset. Unfortunately it had to come to this.

Wish you the best

THIS IS PURELY SCAM

I purchased 2-step account from them and passed phase1, in my phase 2 period, my positions had automatically closed and I couldn’t open new trades, after sharing the issue with them, they admitted they had technical problems and they didn’t compensate it. . I gave them another chance by buying another account, which i had passed phase 1 but again in phase2, i got stopped out without reaching maximum daily loss, and they shamelessly claimed the 2 step account maximum loss is not static which is really ridiculous.
I would advise everyone to stay away from them. Do not waste your valuable time and money.

Hi,

We offered you 1000 USD in your live funded phase for your second challenge after you breached your first challenge.

There was an error on backend side where your trades did not close properly where the value of this was no more than 100$

We offered you 1000USD compensation in your live funded phase but unfortunately you breached based on overall drawdown and hitting the 8000USD max loss.

Our max loss is static as there is no trailing component involved in this

Its a shame you had to resort to trustpilot with false statements.

First payout denied on $200k account, then breached — withdrawals unreliable, extreme risk

This review is to warn others based on my direct experience.

I traded a $200,000 account and reached my first payout of approximately $8,000. That payout was denied. Shortly after, the account was marked as breached, effectively ending any chance of payment.

Following Coin-Funded’s recent platform migration, withdrawal functionality was also affected. For a period of time, the withdrawal button was not even clickable due to a technical issue. Even after this was resolved, payout processing has been extremely slow and unclear.

In Coin-Funded’s public Discord channels, multiple users have openly stated they are still waiting for payouts, some for over a week, others longer. Since the migration, only a very small number of payouts appear to have been processed despite many being pending.

Support responses have been generic and repetitive, typically citing migration or technical issues, with no concrete timelines. This makes it impossible to assess when — or if — traders will be paid.

I independently checked with Crypto.com, which Coin-Funded references within its ecosystem. Crypto.com explicitly stated that they do not guarantee or vouch for any third-party platforms, clearly distancing themselves from Coin-Funded.

I am not alleging fraud. However, denying a first payout on a large account and then subsequently breaching that account — combined with widespread withdrawal delays — represents extremely high operational and counterparty risk.

A prop firm’s credibility is defined by one thing: whether traders get paid fairly and on time. Based on my experience and what many others are reporting publicly, Coin-Funded fails this basic test.

If you are considering this firm, proceed with extreme caution. Do not assume that passing challenges or reaching payout guarantees you will actually be paid.

Must Use Service

At first I was skeptical because it sounded too good to be true, but I took the risk and tried it out and I have never been happier, the payout system is exactly as it claims to be and I was amazed by how easy it was to trade. This service is a great tool for those who want to get into crypto.
