Coinbase UK on the downward slope
I wonder if Coinbase is having financial problems. I cannot get my money out, there are apparently no issue with my account. I have all my verifications, the bank card I wanted the money sent to was acceptable and the funds are in place. I have been bounced around the globe to all their various unhelpful call centres. No response on what to do. I have raised a complaint...heard nothing. I have also just last week written to their UK CEO, Keith Grose nothing. I will contact the financial ombudsman next but what is going on. Funny how it is so easy to put money in to these platforms but so difficult to get it out. Ponzi!!

DO NOT USE COINBASE. Complete morons. Expect many stupid hoops to jump through to ascvcomplish the dumbest things. Also they are so dumb they report to the IRS that you sold crypto when all you did was move it to a cold storage wallet. They charge for everything. Tons of issues with their website. Including not even being able to download the IRS document they set to the IRS. it is literally always some issue with them right when you do need to sell etc. Their website is total shiit as is the corp.

Rubbish. I made a deposit they locked my account said I needed to verify. I verfied then they locked it again. Said I was locked out for trying to many times. I took a picture of my ID at least 20x . I'm pretty tired. Support was good on trying to help but they just read a script. I tried to cancel the transaction or withdraw my money, then they said I have to wait for it to clear in 5 days. I have a state of hawaii Driver Lic. and there ID verifcation rejected me because of the Hawaii Stamp in my neck which is literally stamped onto every single hawaii driver license. Their trading platform is also rubbish there are No-KYC's out there that are far better. MEXC, BingX, Kraken, etc. Literally any broker is better then this one for trading and for verification. Its painful I thought coinbase was going to be kick ass. But it turns out it sucks ass. P.S. Support is good though, very patient and worked with me the whole time. Love the support. But they read a script and cant do much to help other then that.
After I wrote this review they said they fixed it and I was approved, only to find out I was not and I am still locked out. Been chatting for nearly 14 hours now with support. This is embarrassing. If your into trading crypto I'd stay away from coinbase and go to a different platform.

My experience with Coinbase has been…
My experience with Coinbase has been devasting.
My account was clearly compromised through remote access, and in a very short time, over 100 unauthorized transactions where executed. This activity is completely different from my normal use, I only make small purchases of €200–€300 every few months.
Despite this obvious situation:
No real security system stopped anything
No meaningfull alerts where triggered
No protection system interviened
This is a serious failure of their security system.
Even worse is the support:
Copy paste answers
Case closed without solving anything
No real explaination given
Zero responsability
Thousands of euros lost, and their answer is basically “we cant do anything”.
From my point of view, this feels like a complete lack of protection over user funds. When a platform allows this kind of activity without blocking it, it raise very serious concerns.
I am now evaluating legal actions to protect my rights and try to recover my money.
⚠️ Be very carefull: if your account get compromised, you may be left alone with no help.
Absolutely not recomended.

Unable to access my Coinbase account
I have tried to access my Coinbase account, but failed. The first time I was sent a code to reset my password, but the code didn’t work. Then next time, the code worked, but I received a message that their system thinks I’m an automated computer trying to login, presumably because I had requested two codes in a short period of time (through no fault of my own). There’s no option offered to prove I’m not a computer, I’m just locked out of my account. A ridiculous outcome, which means I’ll be using a different exchange from now on.
