Coinbase was quite disappointing and not customer friendly.
Literally made the account yesterday. Wanted to transfer my money and it made me complete a scam safety check. I clicked the wrong response for one of the questions apparently and they blocked my transactions for a month. Customer service was terrible. The conversation was as if they found it amusing, that I was annoyed they refused to help me un restrict my transfers. I assumed my responsibility for my money, and still nothing. The representatives were useless taking their time to respond, and wasted a lot of my time. Just to get an email an hour later and they kept it restricted. Basically Coinbase was quite disappointing and not customer friendly.

They Don't Care About Us Small Fish
This company has many faults but I am currently dealing with being locked out of my account for weeks. Even after contacting customer support and jumping through all the hoops with my ID they just went silent. Never followed up. Impossible to get a real person and emails sent to original response just bounce. Update: 4/12/26: Thanks to this post on TrustPilot someone from Coinbase reached out to me and I was finally able to get into my account. If it weren't for TrustPilot I believe I would have been locked out indefinitely. Coinbase has some of the worst customer support you will ever see.

I have had dreadful experience with this system. From the over restrictive policy on my money coming into my account. I want to use my own money and can’t. 4 day holds on a wire transfer. 5 day holds on my money! Then 7 day holds then 21 day hold on my money then a whole month. I was tired of all the holds. Wanted to convert my crypto currency back to cash. Then they only let me take out half even though it said the whole amount was available. Misleading and frustrating! Makes you want to curse. You hold funds for a month trying to escalate it to 2months. Like for real. It didn’t take that long for money to go from one place to another. I can’t use my own money because Coinbase won’t allow me too! What do I need them for? It’s ridiculous, pathetic and maddening! I want to close this account and never use it again! I hate it and don’t recommend it to anyone starting out! Think twice before signing up! Don’t do it at all. It’s an ongoing experience that I wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy!

I attempted to access it after downloading the app. It took 4 attempts to prove I'm human, 2 visual and 2 audio after the 6 digit code failed to appear resulting in the multiple repeats.
After reading multiple reviews regarding other more serious issues I've elected to avoid using it.

Coinbase is just as risky as anyone other no name crypto platform! Negative 100%. Absolute outstanding platform, software, and model. But everything else is 0%. They will close your account for no reason, and give you ABSOLUTELY no reason. I pay my taxes, am not a t344orist but they insist to cost me THOUSANDS of dollars for which I cannot know or tell what I’ve done wrong. Absolute trash company. I’ve read articles of Brian Armstrong and listened to podcasts. Seems like a great dude with spectacular ideas. But I’ve been proven otherwise wise. This has been going on for over 7 years. I thought the previous SEC with Gary Ginsler was the cause of Brian’s issues with Coinbase. But with this pro crypto environment, i cannot blame anyone else but Brian. After 7 years he knows of these issues, and I will NEVER recommend Coinbase no matter how much I would like to. Screw Coinbase trash, go with Kracken or BNB. Coinbase is just as risky as anyone other no name crypto platform!

So once again I run into problems on…
So once again I run into problems on this site. I have looked for some time now and seemingly everywhere and I can not find where to switch network from Ethereum. I need the polygon network for receiving USDC which I had like 3 weeks ago. If they have disabled it in my region or done something like that you should tell me about it and offer explanation.

Stay away from Coinbase
They are the biggest fraud company you can deal with, if you want to save yourself some trouble, find a better platform. Kraken is good. Had issues in the past were I lost deposits, and now they took my funds from predictions and block my account. They are the worse platform. Read reviews and see im not the only one.
