Everything wrong with them. They are very greedy but they don't accept this.

Where do most bad ratings come from? Mostly from frustrated crypto retail who gambled more than they could afford and got burned. Do they really reflect the content provided by CBC? No.
I can only recommend this membership, the insights have been developing more and more, the teams views are being shared regularly, different perspectives offered. Altcoin reviews are of a quality that is unmatched in this space. And the team has identified that the crypto market has changed and so did the CB approach. More diverse research on a broader field of topics, great crypto as well as tradfi market analysis. Great and supportive community in the discord. Worth every penny.

I first stumbled upon Coin Bureau YouTube channel back in 2020 and soon realised that when it came to quality crypto content, CB videos stood head and shoulders above other YouTube channels. So when Coin Bureau announced a subscription service in 2023, aimed at crypto education and project deep-dives, I decided to give it a go.

Three years on and I can report the good and the bad aspects of Coin Bureau Club (CBC) in my eyes:

Where CBC Excelled:
- Ongoing macro analysis and how it affects crypto
- Commentary on crypto developments by many different voices and points of view
- Daily analysis of key price charts
- Weekly crypto project deep-dives voted by the members
- Members' discord where CBC team members regularly answer members' questions

Where CBC Failed:
- If you came looking for a crypto shill, you won't find any
- If you're looking to join insider pumps in select cryptos, unfortunately none are offered there
- If you wanted the group admin to tell you what crypto to buy and when to sell, no such 'investment outsourcing help' is provided.

What you do is up to you, but I much rather pay my subs to a platform who teaches me to fish instead. And CBC has been a top-notch educator.

And for that reason, Coin Bureau Club gets a 5-star review from me.

I've been a member of the Coin Bureau Club since it was created and continue to be so impressed with the top-level professional content and the continuous engagement by all the staff including their top researchers and even Guy and Nic!

Guy, Nic, and the team take every suggestion to heart and make continuous changes in an industry that doesn't slow down. They are also relentlessly experimenting and introducing new features and continuously respond to feedback.

One such item is the exclusive research feed the CBC provides. The community spoke up asking for more variety and balanced viewpoints and the Coin Bureau team listened! The research feed is packed every single day now more than ever with actionable real-world intel regarding macro, large players, small players, and early insight into opportunities that have produced significant returns for me and others.

The ability to consume such actionable intel in an easy-to-digest format and the continuous engagement of the team alone are worth the subscription cost to me. But to add that their intel drives such returns makes it a no-brainer to subscribe, it pays for itself!

Recently, they’ve also shifted towards shorter, more up-to-date reviews, which has been a huge improvement. The combination of quality research, timely updates, and a great community makes the membership well worth it. Highly recommended for anyone serious about crypto investing.

Been a member since 2023 and honestly it's one of the best decisions I've made for my investing journey. The macro and crypto thesis they put out is genuinely well-researched (not just surface-level takes, but the kind of analysis that actually helps you understand why markets are moving the way they are).

What surprised me most though is the community. I expected a typical Discord with a lot of noise, but the people in CBC are sharp. Thoughtful discussions, real debate, and members who clearly do their own homework. When things get volatile or confusing, having that group to sanity-check your thinking is worth the membership fee alone.

They recently introduced some new analysts too, so we get new eyes on different topics.

The Coin Bureau, in general, and the Coin Bureau Club in particular, is by far the best online community for sharing well-researched alpha about existing and emerging blockchain and web3 projects.

Been subscribed to the Coin Bureau Club for 3 months. I thought since i missed the boat in the previous cycles getting in whilst theres a downturn would put me in a good place for the future.

In a space full of hype and shills, the integrity and quality of research here is genuinely rare.

The analysis is thorough, the content is easy to navigate, and the updates actually help you make sense of fast-moving markets.

No get-rich-quick nonsense, just solid information to make your own decisions. Nobody is holding your hand down the wrong path. Its up to you what you do with the info laidout .

The Discord community is a bonus. Thoughtful discussions and a great place to stay updated.
If you want a trustworthy, level-headed resource for crypto, this is it.

I was charged for the subscription even after I canceled! Waiting for a Refund!!

The main benefit in my opinion is the CBC Discord where you can chat with the team and pick their brains. When I was starting to learn the industry and the technicals of operating on-chain, the discord was invaluable in connecting with community members who were happy to help me work through whatever issues I was having. So for me the best part of CBC is the community you get access to.

I’ve been a Coin Bureau Club member for a while and ran into the same issues many others mention: cancelling only the PayPal recurring payment led to immediate loss of access even though the yearly subscription was fully prepaid, plus a short (quickly resolved and mutually apologised-for) disagreement with a team member that ended in a Discord ban. It felt heavy-handed at the time.

That said, once I sent a calm email (CC support@ and guy@), explained the situation and politely referenced German/EU consumer rights, the team responded quickly. They issued a full prorated refund for the unused portion.

Communication improved a lot after that initial friction.

I now have the light version of the subscription. The content and research have noticeably improved, and the community is more active – that’s exactly why I wanted to come back.

Support and the cancellation process clearly still need some polishing (the in-portal cancel button has been buggy for many of us), but when you approach them professionally they are willing to make it right.

Bottom line: great team and product – just be polite and professional if you ever need help. It makes all the difference.

Awful. I cancelled. They still took teo monthly subscription. I then asked them to check cancellation and refund. Refunded only one. They then just took another subscription payment, despite telling me they had cancelled. Dreadful site. Stay clear everyone.

Loved the CB club, my personal experience was great. The team aren't shills like so many others in the space, would recommend.

My Honest Feedback on CBC

I value my time writing this review, and I hope the leadership of this organization reads it. Whether they decide to change or not is up to them. If not, then continue making money while you can. I prefer to share my thoughts here rather than elsewhere.

Leadership & Direction

The impression I get from the heads of CBC is that their main concern is ensuring the checks keep coming in. As long as subscriptions flow, they’re satisfied. They don’t seem to care much about what actual value the subscribers receive. Effort is mostly placed on the YouTube channel to attract new sign-ups, who are then funneled into CBC. Once inside, members are kept there without being offered meaningful alpha. This strategy still works — and will work — as long as new people keep joining.

Researchers

The researchers are not the problem. They are approachable and genuinely helpful within their limits. However, I sense they’re being held back — perhaps not getting the direction or resources they need from the leadership. I could be wrong, but the lack of fresh output makes me think their role is being diminished.

CBC Detectives

In theory, a nice idea. But there’s no transparency: are they paying for the subscription like everyone else, or are they on CBC’s payroll? That should be clarified.

Discord Defenders

Some people in the CBC Discord appear to have only one job: to defend CBC at all costs, 24/7. Are they simply superfans, or are they compensated by CBC? It feels disingenuous when criticism gets drowned out by these “defenders.”

CBC Features – Do They Add Value?

Research Feed: Feels outdated. Often recycled content, old topics rewritten in different words, or simply boring to read.

Charts: Good concept, but stale execution. The same indicators are recycled repeatedly. Without innovation, this feature risks becoming irrelevant.

Altcoin Reviews: The weakest section by far. You hype obscure coins (Metis, Ultra, BitSong, XX, Dtravel, Honey, P2P Sentinel, JKL, Only1, Dimo, etc.) as “100x potential,” while ignoring real contenders like Hyper, Story, or Aster. Why? The lack of voting transparency raises serious questions. Are incentives involved from projects being reviewed? If so, it’s misleading and unfair to subscribers. Frankly, altcoin reviews feel outdated, irrelevant, and harmful. Coins almost always drop after being covered.

👉 Overall, CBC feels more like a funnel to capture new members than a platform delivering ongoing value. Unless leadership changes direction, the service risks becoming a shadow of what it could be.

Same story here as well.

I signed up for a yearly plan with CB but did not get access to their Discord. Therefore I requested cancellation of my subscription within 24 hours of the 7 day trial period.

Guest what: NO REPLY other than 1 email to say they want more info from me!

Still waiting for refund!

Shame. They have such good videos but almost non-existent customer services.

Have now spoken to my Bank to start a Fraud claim!!!

Had a goood experience with the club... had some shitters on the discord but overall the team is great and they operate with integrity which is rare in this space.

After canceling my subscription and receiving a cancellation confirmation, Coin Bureau still charged me for another year's subscription. I sent two emails to their support team requesting a refund but received no reply. This feels like either severe negligence or an intentional scam, with the lack of response suggesting the latter. I'm now pursuing a refund through PayPal. I'm shocked, as I previously viewed Coin Bureau favorably and canceled for unrelated reasons. I hope Guy is unaware of this issue, but as the company's leader, he bears responsibility.

After cancelling my subscription I noticed the following month that they booked another $71 from my account. Went back to their website to see that they removed the unsubscribe button entirely, and you now have to send an email to their support just to unsubscribe. Had to refund my PayPal transfer and block them. Are you that desperate for a quick buck Guy?

After watching their videos and reading their so-called "Research Feed" for the last six months, I'm surprised that people actually pay money for their "service". You can get that kind of nonsense for free! Trying to make it sound like they can predict crypto trends and explain away any contradictions and false guesses! The only useful information is the background info about RWA coins, but again, most of it is freely available and it is not clear how much of their 'inside knowledge' is pure speculation. Also, the language they use to describe other crypto investors demonstrates an incredible arrogance, i.e. 'when retail investors are aping in'. My advice: stay away from these guys and don't feed their ego.
