Total scam. Even on the balanced portfolio I lost 60% of the invested money, and even when the market is going up the funds barely move.
On top of it, when you try to sell a portfolio the moment you click sell the amount “magically” drops. Happened a few times so it is a not a coincidence.

unfortunately, the portfolio selection is very suboptimal - a single investment in bitcoins & co is easier and more profitable

I use Coinpanion since september 2021 and so far I've done great.
The app it's easy to use and if you choose low risk products you can still have a decent return.

OK...here we go: I opened an account, did the KYC and transferred EUR 500. They money isn't shown in my balance and support won't answer my request. Meanwhile silence from support....I am getting concerned if the money is gone for good....

UPDATE: meanwhile I have my money back and they called and explained that they had experienced technical problems. Support was very friendly.

the website says "start investing in 5 minutes" - I am trying since 3 weeks and all I got was lousy auto-replies from their ticket-system

First off: Coinpanion is a pretty straightforward alternative to other cryptocurrency investment solutions (IF you don't want to spend time/effort setting up the basic stuff like cryptocurrency wallets and if you don't have the time or patience to do a lot of your own research).

It lets you invest in cryptocurrencies without the hassle of having to open wallets or actual trading accounts first.

Unlike other trading platforms, they basically "handle" everything for you... including the automatic rebalancing/adjustment of portfolios (here, they could do a bit better regarding the explanation of HOW they actually do it - one can figure it out over time but it would help if they provided better/more detailed explanations).

While it looks pretty good and works quite well (I didn't experience any of the issues that are mentioned by other users and I think it is normal that you need to provide "legible documents" or "accurate personal information"), I am still waiting to see what the performance looks like in the long run (longer than 1-1.5 years).

Big PLUS: the business is headquartered/incorporated in Austria and is supported by some pretty big names from the local/regional VC community which is a big advantage (especially in comparison to some of the other players in that field/industry which are based in jurisdiction that are pretty opaque/intransparent and supported by investors from the other side of the globe).

Big QUESTION MARKs: will they manage to navigate the volatile cryptomarkets? Can they show consistent long-term returns?

Room for IMPROVEMENT: performance measurement/transparency - they could definitely improve the way the display the performance of the different portfolios AND they absolutely need to provide additional/more detailed explanations of their investment approach.

CONCLUSION: reliable and straightforward alternative in an industry that is still "in the making". Still suffering from some of the "growing pains" typical for startups ("young ventures") but overall pretty good. Definitely worth a try if you don't have the time or patience to do a lot of your own research or constantly watch hyper-volatile crypto-markets. Like many (including "traditional") businesses active in the "investment space", they still have to show that they can generate decent returns in the long run...

I love how the app evolved over time! Keep up the speed guys.

Coinpanion's app is extremely buggy. The dashboard often loads incorrect numbers and symbols, making the user believe their investment is doing better/worse than it actually is. It's very misleading and can cause user behavior to change. Moreover there have been delays in signup and in getting the money to you. I have just experienced so many issues with the app (also random white screens all the time during use) that I just wouldn't trust my money to be managed properly. Bayezid in support is amazing but that's not enough.

A truly helpful app. High level of knowledge about crypto is not required and I really appreciate it.

Honestly, a great app. A really user-friendly experience. Would definitely recommend!
