Moved from koinly to Cointracking due to cost. With my transaction volume, koinly was getting too expensive. CT had a learning curve, but support was great. The loss harvesting feature reduced my tax bill. Will use it again!

Switched form my trusty Excel file to Cointracking, thanks to a friend's recommendation. Despite the old-school design, it works best for my imports compared to other free tools It's been a solid upgrade!

Coitracking made tax season a breeze. The tax reporting feature is incredibly efficient and saved me a ton of time. I don't use all the reports, but he main dashboard is just what I need. Highly recommend!

I actually only realized this year that Cointracking can do all this, I've been using the mobile app since 2021 and never figured this out! Why did no one show me this before? I did my crypto report in 15 minutes. Thanks, crypto community for keeping me in the dark all this time! I think I,ll needs to upgrade soon, but it's totally worth it. Just see their YT tutorials first, it makes starting with the imports and such much easier,

Coin Tracking is the best! I can't imagine doing my crypto taxes without it anymore. Once you figure it out, it is also uber useful for checking up on the portfolio performance. I've got the mobile app too and use it every day, works well with the desktop.

I moved to CT from koinly because of the price. For my amount of transactions, Koinly started getting really expensive. CT is a little more difficult to use in the beginning but their support helps a lot and you get used to it. My tax amount is smaller this year too thanks to the loss harvesting features, I'll use it again next year!

Cointracking is what replaced the Excel I've been using for the last few years. A friend recommended the tool to me but I wasn't sure about it because of the oldscholl design. But after trying a couple of other similar products (the free versions), Cointracking is the one that worked best for my imports,

Cointracking is a lifesaver for me. I started using it for portfolio tracking, but tax reporting, turned out great for tax season, saved me hours of work. I don't use all of the reports, the main dashboard is enough for me. Highly recommend!

I cancelled renewals and had a free account since March 21 as I was no longer very active in crypto so had no value in the product anymore. I have just received a invoice dated 30 March 2024 telling me that I have been "updated" and the charge is 566.83 EUR for the year to 30 March 2025. I had not made any request for any service to be activated or renewed and they have unilaterally put me on one of the highest bands of "expert". I have sent them a mail and if I dont get an answer by the middle of the week with go to the Bavarian Poilice who did with cybercrime with the case

It took close to a month to resolve and they told me "You should also have received a notification that your subscription to our premium membership would be extended several days before the renewal date if you have stated a valid email address on your CoinTracking Account. In your case, you may have not received a notification because you did not verify your email address in your account.
Your subscription wasn't canceled on your part, therefore, your subscription was automatically renewed.

We noticed however that the auto-renewal wasn't executed the year afterward and accumulated over time to result in this last payment! This is actually a shocking unique occurrence and we have already escalated it to our developers. This should have not occurred and we are happy that you reached out in order for us to investigate this matter further. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused " ie I didnt renew for 3 years and then they automatically back billed at a higher plan and claim it was a "unique" and system problem. The system is clearly very faulty or is revenue seeking .

Still no response 3 weeks later. Given they were the ones who asked for follow up its a bit poor for then not to follow up as they indicated. Customer service has just been very poor and cannot recommend relying on them for services

I have used multiple crypto tax software tools and CoinTracking is, by a considerable margin, the best one as it provides more insight, data analysis, reports, charts and graphs than any other one I have used. It also features the most insightful portfolio tracker I've used as well.

My favourite report is the long and short tax-privileged report, I have not seen this elsewhere. If you live in a country that doesn't tax crypto held for over 1 year, CoinTracking tells you exactly how much of each crypto you can sell tax-free.

I've also used their full tax service to sort out my crypto tax mess from years of playing around in DeFi and their team was incredibly professional, helpful, friendly and informative. For the first time in years, I am finally confident that my crypto-tax situation is compliant.

An absolute waste of time. They advertise 'automatic API import' which in fact does not work - the fact which the support admits over email after you buy the subscription. The same support then goes on to ignore all the subsequent chaser emails on the automatic API import issue. Have chased about 20 times on the same issue so far asking for at least a reaction to my emails. But all my emails are being just ignored for 2.5 months already.

Just a waste of money. They don't provide the service that they advertise.

Easy to use and understand, can import any wallet/cex/dex transactions.

I am very happy with the support of CoinTracking. Having contacted them several times with all kinds of questions they patiently helped me again and again at no extra charge e.g. when there were inconsistencies in the data coming from a certain trading platform.

Crypto transaction capture, analysis and reporting is a complex requirement in a quickly evolving industry with new and innovative products. The capture and reporting complexity is further complicated by numerous data standards, Exchange reporting formats, API capabilities/limitations, combined with new and unique tax reporting requirements by country. Therefore, crypto investors need cutting edge tools to be able to track, analyze and accurately report on their investing activities. If you are serious about crypto, I recommend that you try CoinTracking.

I've used this service for several years because I have all my data with them, but I must say the UI/UX is terrible and unprofessional. It make the service barrely usable for begginers. Indeed, the web site is extremely complicated to use because nothing is done right to help the user enter transactions and present the data correctly. For example, in some table the decimal separator is the comma and in some other tables it's the dot, so of course it create issue when copy pasting data. There is absolutly no rational in the user interface. The menus don't really help navigation through the site and automatic import of trades create duplicates. But the worse is the user interface. It's sloppy, old and confusing. It was made by someone who knew nothing about interface design or the importance of user experience. Don't get fooled by the nice homepage it's litteraly web 1.0. Good luck if you plan to use it !

The service was unusable in the way it is advertised, so I requested a refund. First they offered me support instead of refund, the support could not help me too. Repeated my refund request. Six weeks later they tell me they have not proceeded with the refund because I was offered more support in their reply and I have not confirmed FOR THE THIRD TIME that I want my money back. Come on, I do not have to do that. They will do everything to drag the refund as long as possible, not a serious company.

Update: the issue has been resolved after 7 weeks. I do not recommend to deal with this company. Their software does not work as advertised as described in other ratings and they will do everything to not refund you for the longest time possible by using questionable tactics
