ColdCuts // HotWax is hands down the best online record retailer I have ever dealt with. The stock is excellent, the customer service is friendly and responsive and the prices are competitive. But the number one feature for me is the STASH functionality -
the ability to buy records and put them aside for shipping when all the pre-orders are in stock or I've built up a decent stack. This means you can avoid buying three records you sort of kinda want along with the one killer you absolutely must own just to justify the shipping costs. Being in Australia this makes a massive difference to me and I don't know of any other stores offering it. I only shop at CC//HW as a result. Top quality all round.

Always a good shopping experience with cold cuts / hot wax

I’m utilising the CCHW 50/50 scheme to sell some of my collection and it’s exceeded my expectations in every sense.
I decided to give it a try as I always thought that as an online vinyl retailer, their website UI had struck me as simultaneously slick, user friendly and with a point of difference, their customer service and shipping updates always on point and I’d always had an all round great customer experience.
Therefore, it seemed like a no brainer as all the hard work of selling (listing, fees, packaging, etc) is taken care of.
Over several months now, I have found their listings to be unbelievably quick, communication and timeliness of invoices etc, to be extremely efficient, professional and thorough, and to top it off, Will is extremely friendly, congenial, accommodating and happy to collect when it’s convenient for me.
I shall continue to utilise this service as it’s turned out to be very effective Their client base must be much bigger than I had suspected.
I’m really pleased some of my beloved collection that I’d held on to and talked about selling for too long is able to be enjoyed again and all the selling is handled by someone I can trust will do the best job anyone could expect.

I've been using cchw for a while now and the service and choice of vinyl has always been excellent. The 50/50 deal for selling some of my records is highly recommended, much easier than ebay, discogs or lugging a bag of records around Soho! The stash option for stockpiling records is a brilliant idea as well.

Selling my records through CC/HW has been a painless and simple process - after sending Billy a CSV file easily extracted from discogs he took care of the rest, even setting up a dedicated page for my collection which I can share. Through this page I can easily see which records have been sold, which ones are still available, and for how much. Billy also regularly updates a shared excel file with me showing my part of the 50/50 profits, which I can ask for at any point. Fully recommend! Support small local businesses run by lovely people!

A very organised and efficient seller. Helpful and quick to respond with email queries. Records always immaculately packaged and posted with tracking. I like them so much that i've started to use coldcuts 50/50 scheme to sell some of my records. I take 50% of any profit made. So far that has gone very well too. Thanks Will.
