Recently returned from an excellent photography workshop in Glencoe, where everything on the workshop from the time you woke in the morning until you went to bed in the evening was sorted for you. Having everything organised by Colin meant you can just concentrate on your photography which is a BIG bonus compared to other workshops I have attended.
Colin always has a Plan B (sometimes even a Plan C) if the weather doesn’t play ball, and every location we visited presented its own challenges and made you think more as a photographer, and this combined with Colin’s extensive knowledge of photography and the geography of the areas visited, resulted in a first class experience.
Will definitely be attended another of Colin’s workshops in the future.

I have just finished my first tour with Colin Prior - a trip to Glencoe - and it was a hugely enjoyable experience. Colin is very generous with his knowledge and expertise, the locations he took us to were superb, and a great deal of care and thought went into the planning of the whole tour. I learned a lot, had fun and would love to do it again in the future!

Yesterday we concluded Colin Prior’s Glencoe 2024 tour. I believe it has been one of the most exciting tours I have ever been on. Why?
1) Though Colin had a well laid out plan for the tour, but the secret is when the weather doesn’t play ball, plan B was just as good and as challenging.
2) Colin Prior not only one of the best landscape photographers in the UK, he is also a great mentor. I found his vast knowledge and expertise something so so valuable.
3) The hospitality, the food and the atmosphere was superb.

I buy Colin Prior calendars every year, a large panorama wall calendar and a small desk one for my work desk.

We purchased these really beautiful calendars directly from Colin Prior. Brilliant photos - they remind us of the wonderful hill walks we've done and encourage us to climb those hills we haven't yet done. The calendars were securely packaged and delivered by post very quickly within a few days of ordering (and that was over the festive period). A big thank you to Colin Prior.

AN EXCELLENT 5 DAYS PHOTOGRAPHY SHARED WITH 7 OTHER VERY FRIENDLY PHOTOGRAPHERS.
VERY WELL ORGANISED BY COLIN WITH HELP FROM HIS FRIEND BOB. GIVEN OPPORTUNITY TO TAKE MANY AND VARIED IMAGES AROUND THE LEWIS AND HARRIS ISLAND COASTAL AREAS. SOCIAL AND MEAL TIMES AS A GROUP ALSO MOST ENJOYABLE. AS SOMEONE WHO TRAVELLED FROM NEW ZEALAND IT WAS WELL WORTH THE EFFORT AND COST AND AS SUCH WOULD RECOMMEND THIS WORKSHOP TO ANY SERIOUS PHOTOGRAPHER. BOB JONES.

Beautiful calendar which we have every year.

I have had Colin Prior's calendars before and I know that I can expect the best quality in design and materials, which show off Mr Prior's excellent photograph at their best.
This year's calendar must have been packed and despatched on the day I ordered it.
A great nostalgia trip for an old man as I have climbed some (but by no means all) of the Munros he has chosen for 2024.

Good service

It was my husband who attended the photography trip and he loved all of it. He thoroughly enjoyed the camaraderie and social aspects of the small group along with the expertise and knowledge of great sites for taking photos by Colin.
Food and accommodation were of an excellent standard. All up a great experience.
