I had previously bought the Math Wars program and started it this year. I failed, largely my fault, until I followed up with Juliana, who suggested I implement the B.R.E.A.K. Method. After completing the course, I now see the power of MathWars and Mastery-Based grading! She makes it easy to understand, with multiple examples and PRE-MADE documents! My school year isn't over yet, but I'm super excited to get started for next year!

It checked a lot of boxes for me. The information was just what I needed to hear. I have searched for something that would be beneficial to group of learners.

I loved this bundle. The videos, downloads, content, and examples were all very relevant and inspiring. Juliana was inspirational and I very much appreciate her view on older students who struggle. Age appropriate content, moving past fact fluency, and setting high expectations is what my students are in need of. I am over the moon excited to bring Math Wars into my classrooms.

Math Wars is such a practical way to teach math. Juliana is so down-to-earth, genuine, and helpful!

I find the strategies shared helpful to engage my students and give them a fair grade. It has also made connections to some educators around US. I just wish that we could have lifetime access to the courses.

Juliana is a knowledgeable and engaging presenter. She 100% knows the material she is presenting. Her workshop was thoughtful, engaging, and applicable to the classroom immediately with little preparation. I have spent the last week using her strategies. My students have become so engaged and I am able to hear from each student on a daily basis. They ask everyday now, "Are we playing math wars???" They may not necessarily love their teams, but they know they need to work together to earn their points. This has made each class work together better and participate more. This was never about test scores for me - it was about student engagement and getting students to develop a higher comfort level in math. Math wars is definitely accomplishing what I had hoped for. Course was broken down into manageable pieces and provided me with tools I need to succeed. I would love to work with Julianna in the future to do research for her book(s).

Juliana and her team have thought of EVERYTHING in how to present and package the information in her Math Intervention Accelerator course so that teachers can walk away ready for implementation success! I really appreciated and respected her insights based upon her experience and connectedness to past and current math education practices, trends and leading voices. I found her to be a trustworthy, honest presenter with impactful and practical guidance.
*Take notes, rewatch videos/modules as necessary, and download all the module resources at the start of every module--I just created a Google Drive folder to store everything. My notes helped imprint upon my brain the blast of info. as it came my way.

I enjoyed all of the ideas and resources and I'm excited to adapt them all to my classroom. I'm looking forward to providing more support and enjoying more participation and interest from the kids.

The Math Intervention Accelerator was amazing! I also bought the book 6-12 Math Intervention. I read a chapter then would watch the Mod that covered the chapter and this really helped me understand the concepts that were being taught. I really loved the Math Wars strategy and the mastery-based grading. Can't wait to try those in my Pre-Algebra class.

Your presentation was the first one I watched. I already implement some of your strategies. I truly enjoy the way you present, and I always find something new I want to try in my classroom.

The resources provided for the beginning of the year: respect circle, mathography and great wall of inspiration have greatly helped my students to have confidence in their math skills. I don't get the "I don't know" when asking students to share their thinking.

Juliana that all kids are capable of doing math! I love that, AND she has a method to support us in making it happen! She has wonderful resources - it's amazing to NOT have to reinvent the wheel!

For the past few months I have left school discouraged and feeling like a complete failure. My students don't seem to recall info, there are so many gaps, and the motivation has been dreadful. After completing this course, I feel more prepared to combat the trauma and negative thoughts my students have about math and prepare them to be successful in a way that motivates them and leaves all of us a lot happier and healthier at the end of the day. For the first time in a long time I'm excited to see how this changes the culture of my classroom. So many great ideas I can put into use tomorrow!

The online Math Intervention Accelerator webinar was very informative and well put together. The training not only provided information but editable documents to use with my own classroom.

Building a community has to be my favorite module. It gave me several different ideas about getting all my students to engage.
Math Intervention Accelerated should be given during a couple of PD's. It would help some of our veteran teachers who remember past ways of teaching.
We need to evolve with our students.

What made this Math Accelerator program so leveling up was the content to help with accelerating math, engaging students and most of all helping students connect and relieve their math anxiety. Then there was the plug and play templates to put in our own content to well designed resources to quickly and efficiently using in my classroom. One great resource tool is the math wars and also the math scavenger hunt tools. For not resource information that is next level is the tools like starting with non math ice breaker like same and different. Then to follow and evolve to adding into same and different once students are comfortable with math activities identifying what is same and different. This helps student build a connect and learn a deep dive into math. It is like dissecting math and building back up for depth and breadth of knowledge.

I will begin implementing this structure for the 25-26 school year for middle school math intervention classes. I am very excited to see how this will help my students grow not only in math but also in their personal educational journey.

Engaging students to see value in their learning is essential. This course can be used with any curriculum. It is not a curriculum but a method of engaging students in the curriculum.

Review of Math Intervention Accelerator
I am an experience teacher with great classroom management, ability to push kids to high levels. However this year, I have been asked to take on a sheltered class that will be composed of high achieving SPED kids and under achieving Gen Ed students. I have been super nervous about how I would attack the curriculum that gave the kids grade level mathematics while filling in the holes as they go. I love all the strategies and the material given. I can't wait to implement this program this year. Super excited.
