So many steps and filling out labels…

So many steps and filling out labels then shipping it back. I don’t care enough to take the time to figure it all out. It’s a waste of cardboard, plastic and all the 5 million other things that are used to package this thing.

Good luck getting UPS to pick up the sample

The kit is delivered by UPS, but they refuse to pick it up. I'm not sure if there's a connection issue between Cologuard and UPS, but I scheduled the pickup for kit 1 online. UPS never showed, so I scheduled another pickup. After they didn't arrive again, I called a rep who sent me another kit and told me to call to schedule the pickup. I did and they scheduled one for that day. Same thing. Called back on the second day. Same thing. Third day, still a no show from UPS. Now this sample is expired. The rep didn't seem concerned and wasn't interested in investigating, opening a ticket, but was willing to send a third kit. Am I being charged for each one? Why when I look up the status on the UPS website, it says the request is being processed for all five attempts? I guess I'll just keep pooping in a box per infinitum...

Do not take the easy way out

I had a cologuard test April 15, 2025. It came back negative, indicating no presence of polyps. On July 30, 2025 I had a colonoscopy (due to rectal bleeding caused by hemorrhoids but my doctor wanted to be 100% certain the bleeding wasn’t caused by something else). During my colonoscopy a 4mm precancerous polyp was found and removed. Thanks GOD I had the colonoscopy because Cologuard completely missed it.

Read the medical reviews. High false positive results. I was on of these. EXPENSIVE and a bigger pain in the *ss than the colonoscopy I had to get following their bogus results.

Wow! SCAM STAY AWAY

Wow! BEWARE DO NOT DO THIS! I received a letter from my insurance company stating that Cologuard is sending me a kit because my doctor ordered it. I took one test sent back. Well then I received a notification that I was getting a second kit??? I called they said there was a leak?? Okay took a second test sent back now they said I didn’t put in enough liquid??? I looked up the reviews and yup I was right! SCAMMER!!!

Took 32 Bowel movements in the box

Took 32 Bowel movements in the box, Every time I thought it was full the bottom would dry out and collapse. Took 9 weeks to fill. FedEx charged me $242 to send back. Only received scathing phone calls in return with no results. Zero stars.

Where is My Gift Card?

The new kit is messy and difficult to use. ColoGuard makes money, your doctor makes money, but you must do all the work and deal with the mess! ALSO... was told I would receive a $25 gift card.... it never came! So I called, and was told.."oh, you were not on the gift card offer list. Sorry". Shame on you, Cologuard!

Very much like dealing with the cable company

If you have a problem, they are like talking to the phone company. They will talk in circles until you just give up. My doctors office has ordered a kit for me three times and I have yet to receive it. This is my third kit over the years. Ordered by the same office and sent to the same address and yet they can not find an order for me. Ya know, when it comes down to it, none of these folks really care about your health.

Unbelievably Horrible

My doctor recommended this as an alternative to a colonoscopy. After dealing with this company I'd rather take a week off from work and have the Hubble telescope shoved up my ass

I received 2 letters this year stating…

I received 2 letters this year stating it's time for another Cologard test. My last one was 3 yrs ago. Results were negative. I had a colonoscopy within the past 10 years. Results were negative. I do not have a primary care physician because I'm 67 and healthy and have blood work done annually.. The Cologard rep said I could go to the website and order the test without a doctor referral. The system does not allow me to do that because it states "I'm a high risk". What kind of junior computer programmer set this clown show up? Very disappointing.

Pathetic

Pathetic! Lost my test, would not do anything to find the test results. Sam was very unhelpful as a customer service individual. Everything on the shipping and label end was done properly but they couldn’t find any results. Will never use this system again. They spend way too much money on advertising and not enough on solving problems.

High Pressure! Avoid it!

I ordered the kit. Soon as I got it I started to receive a lot of emails and texts. I was dodging calls. I'd not had a chance to even open the box yet! I called back the number that said Cologuard on the Caller ID and the woman answered, "Hello"? I told her to stop calling me. I then searched for the main number and told them what was going on. The woman had no clue. She wanted my birthdate, phone number, and something else before she would address the issue. I gave the information to her and told her I'm not taking the test and to stop calling and emailing me. What a way to run people off!

To many false positive$$$

I got the pack in the mail. They bugged me for 2 weeks asking if i needed help and wanted to know why hadn't done it yet. When I finally did send it in I get a positive result. So now I'm forced to go in and have a diagnostic colonoscopy. Mind you this isn't covered 100% now it's diagnostic. Only to find there's nothing wrong and it was a false positive. I DON'T recommend this test. Just have the actual colonoscopy test done. It's covered 100%. This cost me a lot of out of pocket. To many false tests and to many things that can cause it to be false. 💯 %FAIL

Unhelpful rude customer service

The person that answered my question was very rude. For whatever reason I received a test kit I didn’t order nor did my doctor. My physician is doing a blood test treatment. I had cologard 3 years ago and took forever to get results. I was trying to return box. Woman started yelling at me that blood tests are not useful and how great her product was. If you have to yell it's probably not very good.
