Love what is included in these special books, great keepsakes

There was a little issue with the book I received and the owner responded immediately and was so kind and helpful, and immediately agreed to send another one, which arrived super fast. Their warm tone and friendliness was really refreshing, they didn’t faff on asking me to send the other one back or anything like that either. Really lovely thank you x

I've been filling in my book for eight months now, and I'm finding that the questions fit really well with all stages. Already love re-reading it and I'm so glad I made the effort to fill it in during the sleep-deprived first few months!

I particularly like the space for making a mark (or adding photographs), how inclusive the wording is to all carers, and the "was not expecting you to..." section, which always jogs funny memories for me and makes it so enjoyable to fill in.

The cover and pages are great quality too. They have a lovely feel to them and stand up well to having pictures and card stuck on them. Some thoughtful touches include the month number being written down the side so you don't have to keep flipping to check, replacement pages available to buy, and extra sections e.g. before you arrived, predictions, events, notes, and messages from friends and family.

The customer service was impeccable; quick, polite and helpful response from the owner for my questions, excellent resolution when a colour was out of stock, and they dispatched and arrived very quickly.

I will be buying from Colour Chronicles again and highly recommend this delightful book to anyone.

Purchased the Orange "Book of You". I bought it for my son and my Mum to fill out together. It has since been a treasured piece on my book shelf. I'm looking forward to reading it altogether when my son is older ❤️ Arrived quickly and well packed. Have just purchased another one as a gift!

These books are gorgeous, the quality is brilliant and all the ideas of what to fill in so you remember all the stuff that kids do and how they grow each year is so clever. As a mum of 3 with a very bad memory for anything these are a perfect!

OMG! This Colour Chronicles Book of You is the BEST thing ever for capturing your child's growing up story. It's not just your average baby book, it's like an easy to complete time capsule.

Updated response: As you will see from the owners passive aggressive response (which I'd like to highlight, my aunty bought from your brand and not a charity shop resell) she hasn't even asked about where my aunty purchased from or anything and has jumped to conclusions. Having read the rest of her reviews, it is clear her customer care and service is something to be desired.

Original review: Got gifted one of these books and honestly the content and quality is shocking.

They don't inspire, the texture of the book itself feels extremely cheap. My aunty emailed to ask for a refund and we were greeted by the most obnoxious, condescending woman (I pressume the owner) ever.

Stay well clear and spend your money elsewhere.

This is such a lovely idea but am incredibly disappointed to find that after only a few short weeks, the writing on the spine of the book is almost all gone. It's so disappointing that this is meant to last for years yet couldn't last a few weeks! I have seen from other reviews that this is a common issue, yet the seller seems to blame it on the book getting wet, something I can assure has not happened to this book. It's a real shame that the idea is let down by the end product.

I can’t fault my experience with Colour Chronicles. Ruth was very helpful with helping me receive The Book of You before my babies 1st birthday as she had sold out online due to a shoutout via a podcast. I messaged her over on Instagram as I was after a particular colour and she posted the book out as she had spares at home.

It arrived speedily and in perfect condition. I can’t wait to start year 1 this weekend.

I also can’t wait to purchase the books as gifts in the future 😀

So sad about my purchase :( bought the baby book, and despite looking after it, the writing on the cover and spine is coming off. It’s so so disappointing as I hoped this would be something to keep forever.

This company is a fraud company. They do not pay their developers.
They make them work and remove the access and use the work of their developers.

I ordered the baby book of you and book of you as a gift for my sister in law so that she can use the baby one with her newborn and the book of you with her 3 year old. They both absolutely loved it, she thought it was one of the most thoughtful gifts she's ever received. My niece Ruby, couldn't take her eyes off the book and was so excited about putting her hand prints on it. If you've got kids of your own or if you have friends and family with little ones on the way this is the best gift you can give them as it's so much different than what everyone else gets.

The book itself is a lovely quality, and is exactly as it states, a book that holds 16 years of memories!!

I ordered the pink book of you, which took a while to come, turns out royal mail had sent it back to sender for an unknown address (they seem to do that a lot with my mail) I immediately emailed the company to ask what would happen now, I got a very quick response to say they would send another out straight away.
As it happens, the book that royal mail said wouldn't be delivered... landed on my doorstep the very next day. I emailed the company to say i have received it, so not to send a replacement, or if it had already been sent I would gladly pay for it.
Again, a very quick response to say not to worry, a replacement had already been sent, and no need to worry about payment, just give it to someone who might not be in the postion to buy one!
Honestly, their customer service has been excellent, and im blown away at how kind they have been allowing me to gift the second book.
I would 100% reccomend, and can't wait to fill ours out each year!

I bought a book to celebrate my birthday and document my son's life journey. The book's quality disappointed me - the text on the cover isn't embossed but printed, and it started rubbing off after one use. This is concerning as it's supposed to last 16 years. Even my daily planner from Papier is of better quality.

What made this experience worse was the owner's customer service. I had to send multiple photos to prove the issue, and I was accused of getting the book wet, which I hadn't. She also accused me of damaging her business. All I wanted was a refund and for her to address the poor quality with her printers.

I never received the books I paid for. Don't buy from this company. The Colour Chronicles failed to deliver the books I paid for, the founder Ruth Sturdy accused me of lying about it and then told me to deal with Royal Mail myself to make a claim - despite it being her obligation to ensure the safe delivery of goods she is paid for.

I honestly cannot believe the quality of these beautiful books. I ordered 2 and they are just perfect. The cover is a beautiful material and the pages are thick and really good quality. The details within the book are just so lovely, they include everything you can think of! The images online, although gorgeous, don't do it justice, you have to hold the book and see it in person to feel just how beautiful and special it is.
I'm SO happy with them, thank you Colour Chronicles!

I have ordered both The Baby Book of You and The Book of You, they are beautiful quality and it’s clear a lot of love and care went into their idea and design. I am looking forward to my little girl arriving so we can start filling out these gorgeous books and recording those precious memories.
