Purchased a card on June 2 for even a high price but still somewhat fair. After the next one, the second game of the NBA finals, it was canceled saying out of stock then relisted for a higher price. I had purchased it five days before this, and the money was already out of my account. This is a slimy scam company and I’m going to get to the bottom of it!

I waited two years to reorder from these clowns. I feel so stupid. They seem to lie about everything. I've sitting here for 30 minutes waiting on a scheduled call on an order form 30 days ago. No invoice, no website history and I almost sure they kept a special shipping charge on an item not shipped. I guess I can chalk this up to getting a hand full of commons for $100

Worst Company and Customer Service Ever

This company has a business model that has the potential to make them a real assest the the sports card hobby but the way this business is operated is a complete nightmare. They absolutely lie is regards to their stated shipping times... They keep adding all sorts of new fees and increasing existing fees, even for cards that have already been shipped and stored to their storage center. Customer service could not be any worse. It can take up to month to receive and email response, if you are lucky enough to get any response at all. I have 1,500 card that are essentially being held hostage unless I pay $800 to get them returned or liquidate them at prices way below market to attempt to avoid all of the new fees and increases in existing fees. I will never be stupid enough to send another package to be sold through COMC again. If you have never done business with COMC before, I warn you, DON'T START NOW.

COMC "Loses" Cards

Awful, just awful. Cards are not safe with COMC. I sent them a card and requested the reprocessing as elite service. Stated turn around time for that service is a week at most. 5+ weeks later after multiple ignored emails COMC sends me an email to tell me that my card is no longer available due to a warehouse error. What does that even mean?. And that the would issue me an account credit. The credit was way low, no where near the value of the card and then in order to get the credit as cash Id have to pay their 10% cash out fee. Consumers beware, your cards are not safe with COMC! Awful experience with them, I do not recommend COMC at all. Terrible company.

Just don’t

Just don’t. You see what the others here say. I’ll say the same thing. Card bought on 3/18, not even processed yet and says won’t ship til 4/30. I don’t believe them. What a dog shit site this is. The worst I shoulda known with the low info on how to receive and pay for cards but it was a hard to find card so I bit. Make sure you don’t delete your purchase screen, or you’ll never be able to find your purchase. Thankfully I struggle closing internet windows. My only proof other than card statement.

Any slower, cards would re-wrap themselves

I've been a member of COMC since its start. Things were great in the beginning, but have steadily gone downhill.

Pics that dont show damage. No way to hold sellers responsible. (Bought a gold refractor that was covered in scratches, front & back. Stated NM) There should be a feedback system for this.

Their watermark that obscures damage/serial numbers. Example. Seller will state the card is numbered 01/99. When it arrives, it's actually 81/99. Can't really see it because of the watermark.

The unforgivable processing time.
I have literally been waiting 2+ months (Yes, months) for my last shipment request. Zero status update. The only response I get is "We're behind". Really? I hadn't noticed.

Maybe COMC should lay off of the eBay consignments and focus on back logs?
This site has become a joke.

Be prepared to be frustrated...

I've purchased from them on numerous occasions because it's the only place I've been able to pick up some cards at a reasonable price. But that, of course, is only good if you receive them after paying their ridiculously high shipping charges. Good luck ever hearing back from their customer service, as it is nonexistent.

Terrible what they do to their customers. There is absolutely ZERO customer service. They increase shipping from 25 cents to 50 cent per card you are selling WITHOUT NOTICE. Increased bulk shipping price as well. I have over 10,000 cards in inventory for sale and no one is buying anymore.

Requested my second shipment because my cards are not selling. I made my request January 5th 2026 and at this time still did not receive my cards. I shipped my cards originally to the canadian site to avoid Custom fees but when you request to send your cards back they charge you a custom fee. Cards are not selling on COMC because people are trying to sell there cards for 0.10$. May as well give them away.

ComC long wait for shipment and poor communication

ComC still haven't sent me the cards that I purchased. After I requested for shipment of my cards and paid for shipping, the receipt say shipment will go out in 30 days. After 33 days I went to check on the status, it says new estimated shipment date will be around 38 days. I haven't gotten any response from ComC, its been 2 days since I emailed them. Something for sure is wrong with this company.

Terrible terrible terrible

Terrible terrible terrible! Took months to scan my cards and add them to my account. As for customer service, well, there really is none. Took months to get a response and the response I got said they were restructuring to address the customer service issues and to resubmit my questions if I still needed answers. I resubmitted and weeks later, the same response was given. They essentially hold your cards hostage by charging outrageous shipping and handling and the time it takes to get your cards back is measured in months. Absolutely terrible! Better off just selling yourself on eBay or use another vault service. COMC is the worst!

Used to be good, not worth it anymore

LONG shipping times, 3-5 months unless you want to pay an exorbitant amount for rush shipping. Don't even think there is support, sent several emails about combining shipping, no answer for 2 months and on the day that they actually started packing the order. These guys used to be great, not it looks like their shareholders are screwing all of us. The only reason they have 2 stars is because of the selection. Just know what you're getting into.

I had cards in reprocessing

I had cards in reprocessing, COMC states usually takes 2-3 days, finally received them back after months. Tried contacting customer service, took over a month to get a generic response. If I could give customer service a ZERO rating I would COMC loses cards, and charges an arm and leg to get them shipped back to you. Shipping usually takes months...Horrible customer service. I'll be going back to eBay.

Really disappointing service overall

Really disappointing service overall. Its a total bait and switch. Once you send your cards there through Upper Deck it seems like a great idea. But that is where it unravels. Every card, even inserts are grossly overpopulated because everyone has done the same thing. Literally hundreds of each card in the inventory, so good luck selling them for even 2% of the value. But don't worry, you will still get low ball offers even if you are giving them away already. The only other option is to ship them to yourself, which is insanely expensive and SLOW. Like 3 months to pull a few cards and ship them, after you have already paid. You can of course pay for rushed shipping, but its really not worth it unless the cards you want outweigh the cost of the shipping. Hence, everyone's cards just keep adding to the population count. As others have indicated, no responses or customer service whatsoever. SCAM.

good overall experience

been buying cards here (and shipping to UK) for few years now and never had any issues. Typically shipping request is processed in few days but now it seems there is few weeks delay. I am sure COMC will get on top of this. Great website, customer account/dashboard area and transparency in terms of estimated shipping dates.

it is not ok the way their customers are being treated. i have been ignored via all customer service channels with weeks to months going by with no response. i had items awaiting shipping over 1 month ago with no word.

In theory its a good idea but they obviously cant handle the platform.

One and done with COMC

I tried COMC for the first time to purchase 6 baseball cards directly from their website.
I requested shipment on Dec. 11. They said it would ship Dec. 24. Then it changed to Jan. 1. Now it's changed to March 9.
One and done with them.

Longtime customer, but current shipping delays and silence are unacceptable

I’ve used COMC for years, but recent shipping delays have become extreme. My shipment (requested 12/6/2025) is now estimated for 2/17/2026 with over 571,000 items ahead in queue.

More concerning than the delay is the lack of response — I’ve contacted support multiple times asking whether options like splitting or expedited service exist and received no reply.

Delays happen, but silence does not inspire confidence.
