I had booked a 7 seater taxi to the bus station as there were 5 passengers. I pre-booked this the night before I left and it was confirmed. The taxi never showed up at the confirmed time. I contacted the company and queried where the taxi was as I was going to be late for my bus. They said they didn’t have any 7 seaters in the area at the moment. They offered to send out 2 taxis instead. I was already running very late and decided to drive last minute. I missed my bus to glasgow as the taxi phoned me to tell me they were outside, 9 minutes before my bus was due to leave the station. Only one taxi showed up, therefore 2 people would have been left. The taxi was 20 minutes late. They also didn’t bother to contact me prior to the booking to tell me they didn’t have any 7 seaters and never arranged 2 cars to pick us up as a replacement. This has been an ongoing issue and the taxis never show up. This also happened last Friday when I was due to be picked up at 1am and a taxi never showed up. This is very poor customer service and I won’t be booking with the service again. Best avoided in the future.

If I can do NO star, that would be the perfect option to pick! I will Never use Com Cab again. Phoned at 9pm asked for a 7 seater to be told 1-1/2 hours to get a 7 seater would I like to book, then got told but you might get 2 taxis, which is not ideal as I had my 4 children ages between 8-12, I understand there’s not many 7seaters in Aberdeen, however don’t take my booking - and don’t tell me 1-1/2 hours to get one! To TOP it off, after contacting constantly after 3 hours, still no arrival of a taxi! 12 midnight, My children fell asleep, had to sleep on a sofa, still no taxi (even after changing it to 1 taxi instead-which should have been easier to find) I had to leave my children with a friend on her sofa, so I ended up waiting for rainbow city taxis for 15mins and they arrived no problem, so I can go home to walk my dog. It’s now 130am in the morning! Tired, angry, disappointed is just a few words I have to say!!!!!!

Wish we had seen the reviews before we booked.
Very important and big day as my daughter was graduating from Aberdeen University.
Phoned and booked a few hours in advance to ensure we got to the venue on time.
The lovely and pleasant day that had began soon descended into worry and stress when the taxi had still not arrived 20 minutes after agreed booking time.
Called and got an automated message saying our taxi was on it's way. Another 10 minutes later someone phoned us to say that instead of the 5 seater that had been booked, they were sending 2 taxis .
My husband then already upset and worried about getting our daughter to her graduation on time said he thought this was unreasonable. Person he spoke to argued the taxi company had done nothing wrong.
If you accept a booking, you should honour that agreement both to the number of occupants and the pick up time.UNPROFESSIONAL
It was at this point that we decided to make alternative arrangements.
Day not completely spoiled but this company did cause my daughter a lot of unnecessary distress , worry, and upset on what is arguably one of the most important days of her life.

I don't understand all the negative reviews. I booked a taxi for my mother today from the City Diner in town at 3pm today. She had been celebrating her birthday with friends. The taxi arrived spot on time. Even though it was raining, the driver got out and helped my 90 year old mother to the car and did the same at her house. No complaints from us.

This is a totally disorganized, ridiculous and above all, dishonest, company !! Do not ever trust the transport of your loved ones or yourself on them.
My cousin was traveling with her mother and 4 year old girl from Italy through Amsterdam two days ago and although I booked for them around 2 pm a cab to pick them up from the airport, stressing the presence of the little girl, NO TAXI SHOWED UP and NO ONE CALLED my cousin. The next day I called the company to complain and they told me the were calling and there was no answer from my cousin- FRANK LIES ! It was my cousin who was repeatedly calling the company after noticing that no can showed up and tries to call 5 times the company and there was no answer. All she got was a text message that the taxi will be late and she may elect to cancel the booking.
Conclusion:
Do NOT EVER use this company - they are totally unreliable, do not offer the slightest consideration to the customer and they frankly lie about what has happened.

The worst taxi service in Aberdeen. I had made my booking few hours before as I had very important meeting. Taxi didn't appear on time so I phoned them and they said I have to wait as they have delay. 40 minutes after the time when taxi supposed to arrive they sent me message that they have to cancel my booking due to high demand..

please ignore their app. prebooked taxi for 5:10am and rang them at 5:20am. operator told me that taxi is not available until 1 hour but the app was taxi will arrive in 1 minute so cancelled my booking. please ignore their app.

Avoid this company. 7 seater taxi to and from restaurant arranged 5d in advance through their app. Cab didn’t appear on time. When company contacted they stated they had an issue with 7 seater bookings through the app and didn’t have any available. 2 cars were eventually sent. What a nightmare.

Let me down numerous times.
If you book hours in advance and ask for a set time they still think they have time to mess about. Won't rely on again.

Pre booked a taxi for 8.10 the next morning. Called at 8.15 and apparently the taxi wasn’t even allocated as they were going to wait for other jobs in the area. Why take prebookings then??!?!?

AVOID…… Rainbow taxis are better value and their drivers will turn up on time.

Used the App earlier in the day to book for 6.30pm Thursday, meeting friends in town for a meal.
Rang their number at 6.45 as cab hadn't turned up.
Was told our cab had not even been allocated yet.
It eventually appeared at 7.10 and when we arrived at our destination the driver faffed around trying to get his card reader to work. After another 5 minutes gave him cash just to get out.
Have uninstalled the app and will never bother using again. Suggest others do the same.

The Night before I Ordered a Taxi for 8.10am for work.

in that morning, Taxi called says going to be early and arriving at 7.55. Okay no problem.

Taxi called again saying they arrived.

Taxi called again at 8 saying he wont be able to wait much longer because he has another pick up... I told him i booked this for 8.10 and i am already rushing around getting ready for him to not wait long.

within 2 mins of that call i stepped out my house and he wasnt there. He left before the orignal booking time. I questioned customer service and they were just as useless as the driver.

Would give this company 0 stars if i could.

Avoid at all cost, not worth the money nor the time wasted by the useless driver.

Never again ordering a taxi from Comcab.

Utter Useless.

When ordering a taxi, they say a taxi was sent when in fact it never turned up. When I phoned back, they say I gave a different/wrong address, which is completely untrue. Very rude and dishonest behaviour.

Still waiting 45 mins after booking the taxi hours in advance ...ruined our whole evening an hour late sitting waiting with a baby..will never use then again!!
So disapointing

Onward journey to airport was perfect, no issues and great communication.

Return journey I waited for half an hour after the pre arranged pick up time and received a text to say they had arrived, they hadn’t.

I waited at the location they said they were at and nothing was there, it was only when I headed to the bus stop a gentleman approached me and said he was waiting for me. I explained the situation, no apology or anything which made for an awkward journey home.

Wouldn’t even give a 1. Waited nearly an hour and the address we got taken to was wrong very disappointed

Used the app. Made the booking (confirmed on the app) 3.5 hours before pick up. After no show of 15 minutes called Comcabs to be told no driver had accepted the fare and we would have wait…without an estimated time. Cancelled straight away and just drove instead. Waste of time. Rainbow taxi were 40 minutes and Aberdeen taxi was 30 minutes. Can’t believe how rubbish our cities taxi firms have become over the 20+ of use. Woeful…and that’s word I am using because others would not be published.

Pre booked a taxi to pick up two females for 10pm despite phoning three times to see when it was coming got no answer it never turned up so we took the bus got a text at 11.33 saying taxi had arrived by that time we were home and the venue was closed no thought for the safety of anyone absolutely terrible service

Ordered pet friendly taxi a day in advance for 11am. At 11.15 it hadn't arrived so phoned up and they had sent taxi to wrong place. They then proceed to cancel the taxi without telling us, even though it was only a 6 min drive from where he was to where we had asked to be picked up. Waited to see if he would show up but when he didn't we phoned the desk. At this point the woman on call proceeded to be the single most obnoxious, ignorant, incompetent and disrespectful taxi operator.
She first tried to claim that it was our fault because we had said "North" so the taxi went to north side of the street, then that we had sent him to opposite side of the city (he was only on the north side of the long road, 6min drive) and that the pet taxis are extremely limited so we would have to wait if we wanted to book another one. What's the point of booking a day early if they don't have it ready for you?
Given the rudeness and the cavalier attitude, I imagine situations like this are a regular occurrence. You only react like that to a call of this nature when it happens often.
Avoid company at all costs and I hope they go out of business in the very near future
And to the woman on call this morning, f#*k you.

Called and pre booked a taxi at 4:15pm to collect from the airport at 11:05pm and the taxi did not show up at all leaving stranded at the airport with no other available transport.
