What kind of moron shuts the power down…

What kind of moron shuts the power down on a Saturday for hours for maintenance? April 25th 2026. Why can't this be done on a weekday when people are at work? Because I guess that would make too much common sense.I live on the fifth floor which makes it hard to do five floors of stairs at 63 yrs.old. I live in an elevator building which I cannot use with zero electricity.Again who is the Einstein making these idiotic decisions?

Nasty and incompetent people

Nasty people. I installed solar, and ComEd stopped sending me bills. That made sense to me, as my new supplier linked to my solar is NRG.
But then ComEd started sending threatening letters for non payment. I emailed them several times asking what the payment was for, but they never responded. I even wrote to them, on paper, and sent the letters to their Customer Correspondence Group in Carol Stream, but they ignored them.
I called the customer service line, was on hold over an hour and spoke to a sarcastic lady called Lu, who insisted they were still sending me bills.
If they HAD been sending me bills, I would have paid them, There is NOTHING at all in my email inbox from ComEd for three years. But apparently they expect me to be psychic and log into my former ComEd account and make payments, even though I was not aware that I still had an account with them.

Horrible people. If there were other choices, I would move to another supplier today, but we are stuck with these rude and incompetent people.

Awful company and service.

We're on budget billing with no major new appliances or lifestyle changes. Yet it has increased over 160% along with a delivery charge that is about 40% of the overall total bill.

We called to ask about the reason, and the customer service is nonexistent.

This company lacks any transparency, runs on a monopolistic strategy, fails to support its customers, and charges egregious prices. Not to mention the fact that we lose power 3-4 times a week with no plans for them to address it.

I'd rather take out a personal loan or HELOC to get solar than continue to pay this garbage company for doing the bare minimum.

NON EXISTENT customer service

NON EXISTENT customer service! Moving and needed to change electricity. Tried twice on the website/online form. Each time it says you must call customer service. Called 10/18/24 - starting at 1230pm. Sat on HOLD for 2 hours. Called back sat on hold again, for almost another 2 hours. Courtney answered, gave her our acct info, she put us on HOLD and never came back! Put us back into the HOLDING nightmare. Called again, asked for a call back. The call back came in and then it put us into the HOLDING pool again!!! AWFUL SERVICE.

Made 2 payments within mins apart

Made 2 payments within mins apart. They say they do not have the capability of reversing one. This is coming from a multi billion dollar company that’s supposed to be At top of the technology right now and they can’t reverse a payment. But when they want their money, they’ll shut your power off If you don’t pay it.
