I cannot recommend this company enough. Especially Gareth who I dealt with during my order, he was helpful, quick at replying to any questions I had and he just made the process so easy. His customer service is the best ive received. I had tissue paper branded with my logo and the end result is perfect, production and delivery was fast and the packaging was great too.

Really loved working with this supplier. Andrew was helpful and patient throughout, listened to what we needed, and produced personalised paper and stickers to a high spec and standard. Great customer care from start to finish.

I wish I had paid attention to the 1 star review given by another customer before placing an order through this company! If I could give a zero star review I could!

I placed an order for 500 boxes with embossed printing for our product. We were told they would be well packaged and arrive on a pallet for protection. Paid £7400 up front.

The boxes, each containing 12 of our boxes arrived a few at a time rather than in one delivery on a pallet. This was over a 12 day period meaning I had to take time off work to await deliveries. Many of the external boxes were , damaged and squashed and the contents damaged beyond use. 10 full boxes - 120 of our boxes were totally destroyed. 1 box of 12 went missing and has was not delivered leaving us with 368 boxes.

Worse still was that the order did not meet the standard of the prototype box ;
They were not embossed as required
The lids were poorly made and the vast majority (280 out of the remaining 368) required re glueing.

I raised the issues with the sales guy and sent him photos of 24 of the most damaged boxes. Although apologetic, he did very little to assist and insisted that the boxes were embossed although they are NOT! I was initially offered £500 ex vat refund and 100 boxes free from my next order! As if I would order from this company again. I refused this and asked for the matter to be escalated to see a suitable resolution.

I was then told by the salesperson that his Finance Manager suggested we take £500 payment ex vat and they would arrange for the lids to be repaired. This was worse than the first offer!

I refused this and asked again to have the matter escalated and if I could speak to a manager but no one senior contacted me.


I was finally offered £1680 refund which is £292.08 less than the amount we were down due to the terrible experience. I was told by the sales guy this would be the final offer and the best they could do. I reluctantly accepted the offer.

The boxes we were left with do not meet our agreed product as there is no embossing and we were left with the majority ( 280) lids needing repaired/glued prior to use.

A totally unsatisfactory and unprofessional transaction with a company that clearly do not care for their customers. They knew we were caught between a rock and a hard place as we have orders to fulfil and waiting another 3 months for new boxes was not an option for us.
Its a shame I can't upload photos to demonstrate the pitiful mess we have been left with.

The above was the initial review I left on Trustpilot.
I also sent personal letters to the company directors complaining about the service received.

The next day the director called and said he would look into the matter if I removed the review until he had investigated. He asked that I send a box and some of the unglued lids to him - at my expense.

A full 3 weeks later, (due to him being unable to investigate with the the Chinese manufacturer due to Spring Festival holiday in China), he emailed me to say that - remarkably enough, the lids were not glued due to a lack of glue!! Clearly there was no quality control in place.
He also said that we had been informed that they would be unable to emboss the boxes per our requirements.
I advised him that we had an email trail with their salesperson, following our receipt of the unembossed prototype box in which we were explicitly assured that the boxes we order would be embossed. If we had been told they couldn't emboss we would never have placed the order in the first place.
The director did offer to have the lids glued if I packaged them and sent them to him but we had manually done so ourselves in the 3 week delay as we had orders to fulfil.
Finally when pressed for a full refund the director said he would refund a further £292.08 if I either sent all the damaged boxes to him or took a photograph of all of the damaged boxes together. I thought this was him now being awkward as they had already refunded £1680 but he was adamant he wanted to check the damage. The director initially said they would always check first and that he would pay for the delivery of all the boxes to him. I sealed and packaged the boxes and chased him up for a collection by courier to be told that it was too expensive and that he would arrange a refund of the £292.08 and consider the matter closed.

I ordered custom bags from Comet Packaging and was impressed with their service. Their customer service was responsive and helpful, addressing my questions and concerns. The bags were good quality, sturdy, and well-made, with the customization exactly as we had requested. Delivery was fast and arrived sooner than expected. Overall, I highly recommend Comet Packaging for anyone in need of custom bags.

Couldn't recommend Comet enough. We wanted bespoke gift boxes for our wedding favours and when we came across Robert he couldn't do enough to ensure they were exactly what we wanted. The quality is amazing and turn around time was fast. Will be returning in the future, Thank you 😊😊

I would highly recommend working with Robert on any packaging project. Comet packaging has been flexible and adaptable, even when our lead times are short. Robert is a good communicator and receptive to feedback. We have worked together on multiple projects.

Robert from Comet packaging is incredibly helpful. I spent two weeks searching high and low for bespoke bags that could be produced within two weeks and a small quantity. From the moment that I spoke to Robert he was extremely professional and reassuring and very patient when it came to my many phone calls. I reiterated that I needed the bags by a certain date and they actually arrived 5 days early. I would highly recommend this company.

Really good service from Comet, as others have mentioned they seemed super keen to make it work - from flexing the lead time to accommodating or order even though we were just off minimum value, they were super helpful. Gareth was very attentive through the whole process - chasing where he needed, checking colour matches. A great company to work with and the final products are great too! Will most definitely be using them again

Couldn’t be more happy with Comet packaging’s services. I needed candle packaging last minute, and all the other companies I spoke to had quite long lead times - Comet not only printed my bags in a very short amount of time, but they were also very competitively priced, and very reasonable for the quality. Super-efficient & printed to a high standard! We required a small quantity of full colour tissue paper and Andrew was helpful from the get-go. Comet Packaging were extremely helpful and professional. I had an up-coming anniversary conference an ordered over 200 tote bags, the bags were of a high standard and arrived earlier than expected. Really pleased that we have discovered Comet. We had a new product launching and needed some custom tissue and stickers last minute. Robert was really helpful and came back to our enquiry quickly. The ordering process was rapid and hassle free and the quality of the tissue paper is much better than we’ve had in the past at a lower price. Had a really good experience with Comet Packaging. I needed to get some large branded crepe paper sheets for our glass hire service to cover the crates of glasses. A quick google search took me to Comet Packaging. Andrew immediately understood the brief and sent me some samples which I received very quickly. He then took the logo and quickly came up with a design proof. The whole process only took a couple of days once I had changed my mind several times. I ordered 2000 units which I then received in less than 4 weeks. The quality is excellent. Highly recommended.
