Excellent Service.
This is the second time that I am using comfort cargo services and they have never disappointed me. Their services is excellent. The most important thing is to discuss with them ahead of time what you need doing and they will tell you the process. I have never been disappointed. I will definitely recommend them to anyone. The box and all that was inside of it arrived safely, checks were made and they delivered my goods in one faith, though it took longer than promised, but that must be due to logistics.

Poor communication and Bad Experience
I recently used the service to freight personal items and there were a number of issues that I experienced
1. Delays in getting my stuff to me despite promises to deliver on time.
2. Poor communication and lack of transparency on what they can carry and what they couldn't. Their guidelines are different to the UK Border agency so it seems they are making up their own rules as they go.
3. Not providing timely feedback on issues experienced. My delivery was tampered with and bag was opened when it arrived and the company did not see fit to inform me until i enquired on what happened.
4. Charging for goods not delivered. The weight that was picked up at sending address was more than the delivery address as some item had been taken off but I was still charged for the full weight which should not have been the case and I'm still being owed money but disputed by the company.
While the representative of the company was polite, they did not accept any responsibilities and made no attempt to make things right.
Overall this was a bad experience and I hope the feedback will be taken on board to improve their services in the future.

Hello Larry,
Following your recent review, I will like to correct few things from your allegations.
1. Our standard delivery time for consignment coming into the UK is 10-12 working days. Comfort Cargo will never promise you anything earlier even though it may arrive within 7 days. Therefore if we are still within the time frame we have not delayed your goods. You received your consignment exactly 10 working days after you handed it over to us.
2. Our communication is not in any way poor as we have every information clearly stated on our terms and conditions. As a culture, this is the first thing we ask every customer to go through when we are approached for business. If you refused to read this, we are not to blame.
3. We did not temper with your bags. Despite being told of the prohibited things, your Nigerian contact went ahead rolled it with clothes and hid it between other clothes. Unfortunately for him, this was discovered by Nigerian custom during their search and at that point there was nothing anyone can do, so it got confiscated. Hence the reason for the reduction in weight. We are not obliged to refund you the amount in kilograms seized by customs due to your bridging of the rules. You claimed your bag was opened, but nothing was missing apart from your fish, which is prohibited. Also, even if this had gone to Nigeria, the UK border force would have removed it because anything in animal source is not allowed. You can refer to the UK border source for further information.
4. As for your claim on timely feedback, we have contacted your Nigerian contact who brought your bag to our office. We wouldn’t know if they did otherwise. So we are not at fault. Again I am happy you mentioned our staff was polite. Besides, apart from your review, no other customer has even given such about us. It is an index to show we are good at what we do and our customers are happy.

Sequel to your review, can I please correct that Comfort Cargo Services did not misplace your bag, DPD did when it was been transported to our warehouse. Also be aware that DPD is a separate entity from Comfort Cargo Services.
In addition they have offered you a compensation for your missing bag but you've refused to forward the list of what you've got in your bag. I hope you put this list together quickly so that you can make claim for missing items and the matter put to rest.
