Scammy tossers

Scammy tossers - reported an unathorised transaction. They cancelled the card sent a new one. The next month the same company charged my account - they had no way AT ALL of knowing my card details meaning they had access to my account. Commbank ignored that - cancelled my card again and sent a new one.

Low and behold - get to today; that same company gets a charge to my account - I contact commonwealth bank, really annoyed now as we are near $300, and their suggestion is to cancel my card... I have tried to explain that will not solve the problem but that is their only solution to me.

If you ever wondered what happened to that kid at school the used to sit in the corner and eat the crayons during class - he got a job at the Commonwealth Bank.

Extremely Disappointing Customer Service – Brandon Park Branch

My 85-year-old mother and I went to this branch yesterday to activate her new debit card and set up netbanking. I explained to staff that I would be helping her with internet banking since she’s not good with technology, and that I had her Enduring Power of Attorney with me.

The staff member (Franz) said it would take 45 minutes to set up, then refused to help with either the netbanking setup or the card activation. When I expressed my frustration, she called her manager — a young Indian woman with long hair — and the service only got worse. Neither offered any assistance or showed basic courtesy.

This is a complete contrast to the long-standing, friendly staff (like Kelly) who used to provide excellent service here. My parents have banked at this branch for years, but the current staff at Brandon Park have zero sense of customer care.

We left without any help. After this awful experience, we will be moving our banking to another institution.

Brandon Park CBB branch now has the WORST customer service. Absolutely unacceptable.

COMMONWEALTH BANK WONT HELP YOU WITH SCAMS

During two previous SCAMS of my account, I have received little help - from The Glenelg branch of the Commonwealth Bank. At times, I have waited for up to an hour to be answered by phone - & will not waste my time with the useless ON LINE CEBA ASSISTANT . During my recent scams, I visited the Glenelg branch in person for help - & was made to wait over an hour for someone to investigate the matter. Now I have been SCAMMED again...... I have approached the Commonwealth Bank head office via phone for urgent help - but have been told by the Investigation Team that they hold low hope for the retrieval of the loss of my funds ! I have been a loyal customer for many years of the CB. Now I have decided to change to another bank. It is time that the Commonwealth Bank operations are reviewed !

Bank Employee Misconduct

When a case with clear, documented criminal conduct is blocked, it's rarely by accident. In my experience, certain staff appear more interested in acting as loyal operatives for senior figures than in protecting customers. My matter has been deliberately stalled by someone whose actions suggest they are a willing pawn for internal power players - shielding misconduct instead of addressing it. This behaviour erodes all trust in the complaints process .

suck CBA service

suck CBA service, I have been with CBA for over 17 years. The service got worse overtime, they not only charge customers when withdraw money over the counter but also customer service staff really bad in manner especially-Inala Branch. One of CBA ATM swallowed my card last weekend, called customer service team, I asked the reason why the ATM swallowed my card, staff at the time said" he did not know"-->I was speechless and angry at the time. I then asked them what can they do for me, he said I either needed to wait for the staff to open the ATM and can get it back (it was on weekend and there was no staffs there) or they would send a new card which would arrive in 5-7 business day --> SHAME ON YOUR SERVICE CBA. I am planning to shut my account with them and move on to better customer service bank. I will tell every one in my family to stay away CBA. I am very upset until now.

Awful customer service

Awful customer service, bounced from bot to phone, transfered between 3 teams over half hour on hold then back to app chat. Then they say it's an online product and can't help. 1 hour running in circles for nothing

Their customer service is so bad

Their customer service is so bad. I have been calling them and waiting on the line for hours for 3 days now and they don’t have anyone to take the call. Seriously!!! That’s not what we use the service for.

Horrible bank

Horrible bank, with high fees and interest rates that are higher than everyone else's because they claim to be friendly and have in-store options. Don't get scammed by this bank; it is very greedy. I've been with two other banks, and this one is by far the worst.

Never got the points

Never got the points

Signed up for Commbank Ultimate Awards credit card due to the promotional offer and became a victim of a fraud attempt.

Commbank cancelled my card, sent me a replacement card and now refuses to pay me the bonus points because apparently I have held a card previously (the one they cancelled). Obviously I hit the minimum spend (actually more than double of that), but that did not matter.

Escalated it all the way via complaints etc. and they still refuse to honor their deal.

If I cannot trust my bank with something ridiculously unimportant like bonus points, I cannot trust them with something important as my share portfolio.

Will move all my accounts including business account of my partner.

Great example how to loose customers long term.

Stay away.

I wouldn't choose this bank

I wouldn't choose this bank. My mortgage broker suggested this bank so I went with it. If you overdraw its an immediate charge, no grace. Also, and most frustrating is the wait times, horrendous, I've never had such an issue anywhere else. Whether you are calling the bank about your accounts or about your insurance, you have to wait a V E R Y long time. Has put me off this bank for banking or insurance. I don't have time.

I have been on hold for over 1 hour

I have been on hold for over 1 hour. They have thanked me for my patience and told me they appreciate me waiting and one of their operators would be with me as soon as possible. How much do they appreciate my 'patience'. I think it will be easier to just cancel the policy and get a new policy over the internet from another supplier. there are plenty of cheaper and surely just as crap suppliers out there.
