Como Silent Audio Device

I've enjoyed the Como Audio Solo radio for a couple of years. suddenly there is no audio coming from the unit. Volume button doesn't affect it. Input has no effect: internet radio; FM; Bluetooth... all are completely silent. Tried rebooting and reverting to factory settings. No answer at the company phone # which is no longer connected. Am I just out of luck?

I've had my unit for around 1 year

I've had my unit for around 1 year's...but I never used it because it's unusable...the audio is shockingly bad the speaker vibrates it's got some kind of sheilding problem... thought the speaker might have got a tear in it but it's not that..what it is is the speaker is picking up some kind of interference and it's not an outside source it's definitely in the unit.. waste of money also all of a sudden you cant buy these anymore in my country...shops choose not to get them...I wonder why?... thrown it out today which is why I've written this review...cant be bothered sending it away to get looked at..if a company can't get it right the first time then I can't be bothered...I don't spend money to buy a hassle on anything I buy.

Poor Quality Control & Function

I bought several units from Como audio for my home gym. I really wanted to like this system and the reviews were encouraging. I had owned a previous product by Como's designer and was impressed with it. Big mistake buying the new Como units. On one unit the speakers started vibrating badly after a month. On another the input jack didn't work so no hooking up to my tablet or Ipod. On a third the display went out. The app only connects to the units about 50% of the time. Spotify can only be picked up about 50% of the time. Sometimes it takes 30-45 minutes for Spotify to work. Wifi is strong so that isn't the problem and other wifi devices work just fine. If you group several units (one of the big selling points) the app decides at random times to dis-connect one or two units or change which one is the master. Customer service's "solution" is to tell you to turn off your wifi and turn it back on again. They did tell me to buy an enhancer for my already fine wifi signal and recommended a product. First purchase of that product didn't work at all. Replacement basically shut down my home wifi. Fire TV wouldn't even operate. Returns are a pain. Just stay away from this product.

Additional information. I received a response from Como Audio so an update. For the last two weeks I have tried to listen to music for at least an hour a day from their units. Every single song in that time has broken up. One day nothing could connect with their units. I have tried two different wifi systems with Como's units and had the exact same problems. The grouped units are in an open room about 20 feet across. Very strong wifi signal. A friend's smart speakers from another manufacturer were checked out in the same location and worked perfectly. I have turned off all other devices using the wifi and the problems continue. The app doesn't detect their units even when placed on a shelf an inch from the units. Basically impossible at this point to listen to their system. The previous help they offered was a waste. Strike 3 and they were out. Seriously, turn the wifi on and off before using the Como units? What a sick joke.

My love affair with my Como Solo radios

I won my first Como Solo radio, and was so impressed that I purchased 3 more. This amazing radio has a remote control as well as an app that fully operates it. It plays local FM stations, Spotify, world-wide internet radio, Bluetooth, music via usb port, (2) aux inputs, and optical inputs. They can play individual sources, or grouped together to play the same source through all radios. They now can also be linked to Amazon Echo products. Good sound, very versatile, what more can you ask for? I'm Como audio's biggest fan, and have recommended their products to many people. I can highly recommend their products and personalized customer service. Please check them out, you won't regret it.
