The rent increases are insane. My unit rent went to $365 if @ late $452. Shady practice. Had an issue with staff and was told no corporate number. District manager never called back. Stay away.

I originally was with the company prior…

I originally was with the company prior and had a move in rate of 79.99 a month with a noted increase of 10.00 after the promotion this was 7 years ago- somewhere along the line they sold to this company and every quarter since they have taken over, my rate has increased- I just got another letter to saying explaining the reason for the increase this time. ridiculous - stating they understand the financial strain this year has been and are trying to keep the storage units available by keeping cost as low as possible so what do they do?? Increase it another 20.00. I now pay 161.00/month for the smallest climate controlled unit they have available- I will be cancelling and NEVER REFERRING this company to anyone. My bill has increase almost 100.00 over the past couple years .

Cost is insane

I have had great customer care. My problem is the cost of the unit. I’ve been in mine for under a year. I got the unit for $145 a month on a climate controlled Unit and that seemed fair. Well I just paid the last bill and it was $192. They have adjusted my unit cost up two times in under a year. The last time I questioned them on this I was told they review two times a year. I assume this means the cost will go up $50 a year which is over 10% per year. I would not use these people again and I’ll be looking for someone who reviews less. This kind of cost for a storage unit is insane.

Today I went to compass storage

Today I went to compass storage. Brian was unable to get in touch with any supervisor. He was unable to refund my money on a unacceptable storage unit. There is no Corporate number to call on cases like this. I will advise any not to use this storage place on Satellite blvd. Management is non existent

Great customer service

I have had my storage unit for a year and the people that work there are great, very friendly. The customer service is outstanding. Very clean and safe. Any issues that you might have they will try there best to help you out. Daniel really went out of his way to provide great service.

Horrible

They will rob you with all these lies hidden fees tell u 1 thing and someone tell u something else told us we had 2 free by months come back they say we owe $235 when we have only had the storage 3 months this the first month we suppose to pay so I'm lost then we ask the lady to explain very nasty attitude she had I would not recommend here I should have listened to my fellow co workers...

Leeann G - made this experience great. Its not easy losing a customer but the way she handled my checkout made sure I will come back if I ever need space again. I will also only rent trucks from this location. She was courteous, funny, and extremely professional. 5 star service during a time of change in our life. This took one worry and turned it into an enjoyable experience....something you value when you have a million things to do on your todolist. Thank you Leeann!

IT dept needs to work on mobile site

I've been renting a 10x15 unit at Compass Storage, for 6 months. I'm almost positive, last month was the first month I was able to pay my bill through the online portal. I've complained about this several times, bc that's how I pay all my bills- online.
The portal having issues has caused me to be late/incur latefees on the bill, several times:
I'll get so flustered with their site, in the midst of skimming through others, paying all my bills in the same 1-2 day period, I'll completely forget to go back and CALL the home office (I emphasize "home" office, bc if you call their corporate office they charge extra to process your payment!)
When I've asked for them to waive their corporate pay by phone fee/late fee, asking them to put it on their IT dept's bill, I've gotten some snarky remarks about "I earned the late fee". It was like they weren't even listening to why I was late paying the bill/having to call to pay the bill in the first place - online portal malfunctioning - AGAIN!

Love Em

Love Em! I was in a pinch with time and at my wits end. Rick and Anne help me talk through the situation, gave me options to think about, and were nothing but kind, polite, and professional.
After I had the Uhaul, I could maneuver in the storage space to get to my unit and when I had an issue with Uhaul they put their 2 cents in on my behalf. Couldn’t ask for more.
