First and last time that I will be purchasing tickets. Firstly they extended the draw by an hour without any notice. Apparently this was due to some people having problems purchasing tickets, although they didn’t sell a single ticket in the extended hour, so not sure if this was true.

The biggest put off for me though is when they conducted the draw, technical glitches occurred which resulted in the first two balls being drawn ‘voided’, which could have been one of my numbers. They should have just picked the first ball out manually that was selected.

Did the ‘technical’ problems occur on two occasions as they wanted to pick a number out that was a friend or relative? I’m starting to think this is the case, as the winner of the soundbar is associated with the presenter, Tom and they never sold enough tickets to cover the cost of the prize, so it’d make sense for them to choose one of their ‘friends.’

As the other review says, there’s plenty of other competition sites that are transparent and do a far better job. I wouldn’t waste my money on these if I were you.

Everything from start to finish was beyond expectations. I’m so happy that I’ve finally found a competition where you have a real chance of winning, the prize are amazing and the odds are even better all with a low ticket price.
I was contacted straight away after the live draw by a friendly member of staff and my new combi set was delivered first thing the next morning.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on the Phillips perfect draft machine, it was a quality addition to my mancave, after the cooling process I couldn't wait to get my hands on the 1st perfect pulled pint (I went for the hertog Jan, a quality German beer if I say so myself!)
with having past bar experience I didn't find it too hard to pull the perfect pint from the perfect machine.

also would like to add a massive thank you to competition countdown for keeping me up to date with all the delivery process, can't believe I WON the perfect pint pulling machine for only £5!!

Fantastic company! I recently purchased 3 tickets for the MacBook Air, and to my surprise I won! The company was quick to contact me to arrange delivery of the MacBook and to chose the colour of my choice, my MacBook arrived on time as promised and the company couldn’t have been friendlier and more professional at all, i would recommend anyone to have a go at this competition as it just shows anyone can win! The live draw when announcing the winners is also a great touch! I will 100% be taking part again!
