Concordia Volunteering Reviews 

I was initially nervous given that I couldn't find any recent reviews anywhere online, however I signed up via Concordia to go to a 2 week volunteering project in France which I've just come back from. The trip was amazing - truly once in a lifetime! I am so so glad that I signed up and went - so thought it was only fair to come back here and add a review!
It's to my understanding that Concordia is just the in-between platform, connecting people to independent volunteering projects, as when I was on the trip there was zero mention of Concordia anywhere. I found it to be reasonably priced, trustworthy, and have received an email checking that I got back home safely / that everything went well on the project.
Zero complaints from me!

I spend 2 weeks in the best community ever in Rome, helping to set (and unset) their art and design festival. It was one of the best experience I ever had; the people who welcomed us were very friendly, the task we had to do were unfortunately not always very useful but it was interesting to see the "backstage" of the festival and help setting it up.
The place we stayed in was probably the most remarkable think about this 2-weeks volunteering with Concordia, the only real problem was probably the team of volunteer though. I think Concordia could improve by picking better its volunteers and find true motivated persons, if possible interested in the culture of the place they are going to. Apart from that, the organisation was great and the camp in general an experience I will remember forever.

I have been able to enjoy many enriching overseas experiences through Concordia such as volunteering on various different social and environmental projects in Europe, exchanging my time and enthusiasm to help community projects in return for accommodation and food.

I have also had the opportunity to lead one of Concordia's UK summer projects here in the UK, where I coordinated and organised the daily social activity programme for the volunteers who were working at a youth centre in Kent to deliver outreach sports and creative activities to youth in the local community.

I have also been fortunate enough to take part in "European Voluntary Service" through Concordia. My project was in the French Alps, working for an organisation which promotes intercultural appreciation and tolerance through international summer youth activity camps, festivals, local community projects etc.

These are just a few examples of the many diverse opportunities that are made possible through Concordia! I would highly recommend the organisation to anyone wanting to take part in "ethical" overseas voluntary projects which benefit local communities and to those wanting to feel enriched and inspired!
