They claim it's safe, but it's not safe for children - BEWARE!

Simply put, I felt my child was being groomed by someone claiming to be a child on the free Kids Club server. They use TeamSpeak, which has no chat monitoring at all, so kids can say whatever they want and it not be monitored by the moderators.
The sign-up process is easy; ANYONE can sign up claiming to be registering their child. There's no checking to see if anyone is who they say they are. The same goes for some of their volunteer moderators. The application is a short questionnaire with no background checks.

Thank you for your feedback for us and we're sorry to hear about your experience with Kid Club. Our team monitors each Teamspeak channel and uses preventative measures to ensure kids do not exchange personal and sensitive information over Minecraft messages, public chat, or in voice comms. Privacy is very important to us so any identifiable details such as a camper's real name and location are not shared through any of our hosted communications. Our lead counselors and volunteers go through a rigorous recruitment process beyond our initial application that includes further interviews, screening, and training in order to provide a top-notch moderated environment for our Kid Club campers. All lead counselors also go through a background check and multiple trainings to uphold our safety procedures. We teach them how to respond to uncomfortable situations and what actions they can take to remove potential stressors from our environment. With that said, we're always working on improving our safety measures and will take the appropriate steps to reinforce our guidelines to make Kid Club a safe space for everyone.

I did the free kids club for ages before doing a camp and eventually becoming a volunteer! Would recommend to anyone needing a safe server for their kids!
