Dishonest Purveyors of Dangerous Furniture - They don't stand behind their product.

The store team was friendly enough, but my $700 bed broke after six months due to poor design and materials quality. Conn’s DOES NOT stand behind their products. My warranty claim was denied as “not covered”. The particle board was poorly manufactured and separated suddenly, leaving me with a $700 pile of what used to be a bed.

Don’t waste your money on their product lines. Even with delivery and setup, their products fall apart fast and you’re stuck with the bill. Run away!

-Edit- July 10, 2024 - The Conn's reply to the Google Review is MISLEADING to say the least. They do not stand behind their products, and they DO NOT try to work it out with the customer. My concerns WERE NOT addressed, I was dismissed outright. These folks are proving themselves to be absolutely disreputable!

Don't buy anything from them that you aren't willing to lose.

CONN’S Homeplus… RUN!!!

I purchased a washer/dryer set June 9, 2023 on 12 months no interest plan. These folk added service contract agreements of 319.99 for each piece… they also added property insurance and credit life or rental insurance. Once I finished fighting to have all the stuff THEY ADDED WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE OR MY CONSENT removed… I get a final payoff amount of 824… the set was 679 each plus shipping and all the EXTRA fees they charge… total came to 1839.. I make my FINAL payment of 643 on June 23… final date to pay was July 3… so I’ve paid 1839 for my set..
Now they’re saying I still owe 633 MORE dollars??? All the interest was added back since they said my payment was late???? Huh??? NOT HAPPENING!!!
BUYERS BEWARE PLEASE!!! I wouldn’t buy a toothpick from this company! RUDE associates ( 2 of 3 hung up on me) … I feel like Ceily in The Color Purple… “all my life I had to fight”
I’ve turned it over to the Better BusinessBureau

Conn's is a Con

The only good thing with Conn's was your delivery from Civic Center Las Vegas. Conn screwed up our order and took 2 weeks then on delivery day, they said oh, it's not in stock now, seriously? Then you use another country for customer service, where they don't understand Americans. Bad services, your name is what you really are a Con!

I wanted to set up auto-pay so I called "cutomer service" (what a joke) I asked if i pay today when will the next paynent be due he said 7/5/2024
a week later they billed me another payment so I called and explained what happened and was told i would get a refund in 7-10 days that was 23 days ago!
read the reviews folks thos is a shody company to buy from

The people at the store is very nice…

The people at the store is very nice but the appliance repair do not buy because it’s a waste of time and money! I called to get my washer repaired they are telling me it’s going to take 2 weeks to get someone out here! I called several times trying to talk to a supervisor or manager and they keep telling me that they can not take my calls. They just don’t care never again!! Little update I called customer service department and the told me that they can’t do anything to help and that no manager that can come to the phone because they don’t want to deal with all the customers complainsnnn. They just lie about everything and they just don’t care about then customer. I even called the store manager and still nothing was done! That s what the are train to do we just don’t care about their customers. This is a bad business model. They couldn’t take the time to responds to these bad reviews because they don’t care

Stay away from conns the furniture is…

Stay away from conns the furniture is overpriced they promise a discount and don’t give you one. They also state they don’t have a return policy and they do you just pay the restocking fee they really need to read it for themselves or take it down and please don’t contact customer service that a bigger joke you will speak to different one if they just don’t hang up on you

This place is terrible

This place is terrible. I wish I would’ve read reviews. They rush you through the process. From the moment you step in the doors, they harass you. The furniture appears good but when it gets home- it’s terrible. Uncomfortable. There’s a no return/exchange policy. I went through seven people yesterday and received zero answers. They called back and didn’t let it ring, left a voicemail and said “unable to get ahold of client.” Despite me calling back within a minute. After speaking with multiple people yesterday I stayed on the line to leave a review like they ask you to do but instead the representative stayed on until I hung up. I’m stuck with this god awful furniture that is so uncomfortable and paying close to 5,000 for it. Yes, I know- no return policy. Blah blah blah. That’s my fault for not knowing how uncomfortable things would be and their zero customer service skills.

I am too irritated with Conn’s

I am too irritated with Conn’s. We bought a refrigerator, stove and dishwasher back in November. Well the refrigerator went on a blink about two weeks ago. Thought it was just the filter. Ordered on line and replaced. Still error message on refrigerator FF E. Called for service after we tried everything in the book. Unfortunately there are not service technicians in our area. My husband threatened to take the refrigerator back and drop it off at their front door. They found a service tech that was willing to service our refrigerator. Why would you sell LG’s if you cannot service them. The tech company is based out of Houston, TX. We live in Taos, NM. Now they cannot be here until 6/13. We have been without a refrigerator since 5/26. We had to throw out all on of groceries. And of course their warranty does not cover perishables….I will never buy from Conn’s or buy a LG brand of anything ever again.

Terrible shipping experience

I ordered dining table online. A few days later I received a call from FedEx that I have to pickup the table from their warehouse. I called Conn's and spoke with customer service, it was a joke. This person did not listen to me and did not understand anything, she confirmed the table is on the way to be delivered in two days, after I asked her to call FedEx specific number. Then, I called FedEx, nobody contacted them and they decided to return the table to the shipper, Conn's. I called Conn's again trying to explain, I was told they cannot control FedEx, regardless the fact I bought the table from Conn's, not FedEx, it shouldn't be my problem. Despite of calls and emails, never answered, the table was shipped back to Conn's 6 weeks ago and I still didn't get my money back.

NOT A GOOD EXPERIENCE

My husband and I purchased furniture for our daughter's home. The furniture arrived yesterday (May 24). The loveseat had a tear from a box cutter knife, so I refused the loveseat. The sofa and oversized chair had stains, which the delivery person told me should have come off. I replied that this was brand-new expensive furniture and that I should not have to take stains off of new furniture. A few hours after they left, I noticed another stain on the bottom of the oversized chair. I was told that my husband and I would receive a call within forty-five minutes regarding the loveseat replacement; however, a couple of hours passed, and I had to contact the store. I spoke with Sean, one of the managers, who was extremely helpful, polite, and professional. I emailed him with additional pictures and am now waiting for a resolution. Once I receive a resolution, I will post a follow-up review.

I just got off the phone with Victoria (manager), a different experience from Sean. She was rude and unprofessional. BUYER BEWARE! DO NOT SHOP AT CONNS if you want quality furniture and exceptional customer service. Still no resolution, I will post a follow-up.

I have had an account for 2 years and i…

I have had an account for 2 years and i have made my payments on time and sometime i would pay twice a month. last month my bank expired and i was 4 days late when they started calling me between 8 to 10 times I spoke to them and explained the situation and told them i would pay it in the next few day but they kept calling me and i would answer and say i made the payment they would apologize and now they somehow found my 13 years old daughters number and they called her 4 times while at school and she told the man she spoke to that this is not her mothers phone and that she is in school but they still called her again. how did they get my child's number. not to mention that they start the harassment after 3 days of being late.

I recently called the customer service…

I recently called the customer service line to try to work with Conns on getting my account back to current (which I thought was the right thing to do and had gotten a text saying they would work with me) I’ve been out of work due to medical reasons.
The representative I spoke to was terrible.
This man on the phone told me I should have borrowed money so that my account wouldn’t be behind. I said— excuse me?
You don’t say things like that to people! Especially when I’m calling y’all so we can work together to fix this and especially to a stranger when you know nothing about them or their situation. (He got angry at this point.)
You’re rude and not a kind person. Have a good day, I’ll be calling back to speak to a different representative that knows how to speak to people in a respectful and courteous manner.
Not once did I raise my voice or cuss this man. It’s a shame.
I wish I would have gotten this persons name however I was livid by this time.
Honestly, I don’t think I will be calling back ever again especially if this is how they treat customers.
Horrible experience. Conns needs to do better with customer service and they way that they let the representatives speak to people.

This place promises everything all…

This place promises everything all kinds of warranty services and protection plans. But when you need it no such service exists. Especially after you have paid it off. Especially the store in Fayetteville skibo , one of the salesman in there he has an accent promises the moon 🌙 and says call me if you need anything. Don't believe it. He's not helpful at all.

I had 3 credit contracts 1 for a 75…

I had 3 credit contracts 1 for a 75 inch Samsung tv , Apple Mac Book pro which i paid off early, and a washer that I just paid off early also. I get letters in the mail the sales guys tell me I have $5k store credit. So I pick out a $599 Toro lawnmower to get and was told that I need to re apply??
I just paid off a washer and everything on my previous application is still the same. They said that I would have to redo another application.

HORRIBLE

It's really sad to see so many horrible reviews over the same thing. It just means that they don't care to make a change. I had been trying to change my pay date for months. The 3rd was difficult so close to rent. I couldn't change it because of the cash back option. So I waited that out and just set up automatic payments for the 9th because the rep said the 9th was still in the grave period with no penalties. Yet everyday up until the 9th they called several times a day. Week days, weekends, during work. Everytime I did answer they'd speak to me like I had a delinquent account. They told me they couldn't see the automatic payments on their end.... UNTIL I would tell them that it was set up for an automatic draft for the 9th. I had to do this game with them EVERYTIME! Then when I did get a chance to change the payment date. I changed it to the 13th. The rep told me that it would be the 13th every month up until August then I'd have to call to set up the next 6 months. Well, while on my honeymoon in Mexico I get a call from them. Asking me how I want to pay my "delinquent" account. I got routed to a supervisor whom told me that it takes 3 months for the pay date to change, YET in the SAME breathe told me that my payment didn't go through on the 13th, but my payment date was still the 3rd and that there is still a 10 day have period 🤔.... But if he says my automatic payment tried to go through on the 13th and didn't... don't I still have the 10 day grace period? Why are you calling, if I'm not passed due? We had a fraud alert on our account the night before we left for Mexico, so we were moving things around and should've been fine with the 10 day have period with my new due date being the 13th. But the super over talked me, and told me it was me that didn't understand.... they are still calling me this morning. I'll NEVER USE CONN'S AGAIN!!!!

I am sick to death of being hounded for my payment each month. I have asked them over and over again, just send me an email, and I will make the payment. NO! They just continue to call me while I am at work and my payment isn't even past due. I have made EVERY payment on time, and have paid more than twice the price of the sofa I purchased from this joke of a company. NEVER AGAIN!!!

Please don’t do business with this company

This company has sent me on a wild goose chase to retrieve my refund. I just got my money back April 9, 2024 via check, but the refund was accepted and processed on March 11, 2024. On March 4, 2024, I accidentally sent them an extra payment. I immediately called them the same day after speaking with my bank to notate on my account that I am requesting a refund and already informed the bank. They were notified 48 hours before the payment was processed and still accepted the payment in their system. They also advised me to call back which I did. The first person I spoke with argued with me saying the payment was declined after I said I can send them evidence that the payment already processed through my bank. The manager that day said customer service reps don’t have access to that information and he shouldn’t have said that to me. Over a span of a month, I asked five different customer service representatives to speak with a supervisor numerous times while waiting for an update. While waiting on the update I was behind 11 days last month and was charged a late fee. I do feel this unfair and asked them to credit me for the late fee due to not receiving the refund yet. I was also informed by Mary, the supervisor, today that I lost my promotion of 0% interest because of the late fee. I informed them once again they have not made any effort to get in contact with me via phone or email. I have called numerous times and emailed Conn’s with no response or solutions. They kept saying they would create a ticket to escalate it and the supervisor would call me from a different line. They made the situation seem insignificant and I didn’t hear from one supervisor before today. It’s funny how they weren’t able to contact me to update me on the refund, but was able to call me from another line outside of their business hours about my payment. They called me from an outside number to retrieve payment and I when I picked up no one answered, I had to call that line back two times. Before that, I called in two days after my due date to inform them I was still waiting on the refund and my bank wouldn’t allow me to use my credit card due to the payment system Conn’s has setup for credit card payments (it’s cash advance). Not once has Conn’s apologized to me or taken responsibility on their part. They kept placing blame on me saying I need to check my emails, as if I don’t know how to use or check mail. The supervisor today got an attitude and suggested it was my fault for sending them the extra payment to begin with. This is the first time I’ve made a mistake like this, the payment was meant for another bill so this is how I got behind. I wish I would have read the reviews here before doing business with them. I possibly may have to get an attorney and fight this because I refuse to pay interest on account I have never been late on before this refund fiasco. Every time I called there was no solution. Initially, they told me I should be receiving an email from JP Chase Morgan about my refund. They have all of my updated information. I never received that email. They waited until April 2, 2024 to send a check for my refund when they could have done that the first time. They have had no urgency to help me. The supervisor, Mary, that I spoke with today was refusing to give me contact information for the corporate office. I’m so upset at how poorly they have treated me.
