Consents online are so incompetent
Consents online are so incompetent! Run if you ever have to use their service. Wanted to get a loan from Abound and had to give access to two of my accounts; I later rescinded my decision and wanted to stop my data being shared, I saw the option for Monzo but no option for Barclays Bank on their site. I have been sending them emails on that for weeks! Seems every time they reply, they don’t know their right from their left. Don’t use them!
Intrusive and worrying!!
I found the online credit rating link consent process intrusive and worrying. The system couldn’t differentiate between banks and failed to verify my identity, despite my high credit score (961+) and long-term residence at the same address. It’s scary how personal data is handled, and the whole process felt dodgy.
Car dealers using this system will struggle to attract serious buyers, as it’s not an accurate way to assess affordability or creditworthiness. I wish I had read the reviews before entering my details.

I used this service via Rightmove to prove my income and found it simpler and easier than locating three previous pay slips and converting them to a PDF and then sending them via (unsecured) e mail to an estate agent. This way appeared more secure to me granting an hours access & then I can delete the data. It was quick & hassle free & my bank account has not been emptied.
So it simply doesn't work
So it simply doesn't work. Would not be happy entering my bank details and login via this company site.
I suggest you do not use.
Shocking!

Didn’t feel safe at all

so I got 1000 out of 1000 credit rating and these muppets score me 9/100 don't think so....
You really have to be joking
You really have to be joking. Share bank details with some random company with bad reviews? No. I was attempting to get a credit agreement with Currys through Creation Credit. Don't really need credit but 9 months interest free is always attractive....but to get it , jump through this dodgy hoop. Nah. Don't be tempted!
Damn useless
Damn, wishes I would have checked this before. Useless company said they could do me a loan because I’m short till pay. Want me to send a much of private information. People on n the phone have no idea what they’re talking about.
Avoid like plague. Should be shut down
Something very dodgy how comes credit…
Something very dodgy how comes credit spring (which is credit building service ) share your bank data with these people with their ratings being this low ?
Seems extremely dodgy
Seems extremely dodgy, glad I googled the reviews on here before consenting to them accessing my bank account! Avoid.
Terrible
Terrible, constant technical issues in the middle of a credit check. Garbage software
Scary data requests
Applied online for credit rebuilding card after having nothing on credit for 5yrs.
I've lived at the same address for 4yrs been on the electoral role and been with my bank many years.
I was shocked to find this company then asking to access all my bank information and all transactions for the last 12 months, there is no way I'm sharing this information with a random company!
I don't believe for one second this is safe, and that the information they could gain of who I get insurances from, Internet providers, who I shop with etc wouldn't be sold or accessed by hackers!!

At least l am forced to huddle warmer now they’ve attempted to back me into a corner.
Absolute shambles
Absolute shambles. When their IT system fails "due to technical errors" it just gives you the option to try again, not abandon the attempt.
Combine this with an intrusive letting agent who seems to require a reference for one of the UK's largest pension providers - I kid you not - and I can see why prospective tenants feel screwed. And I was just trying to act as a guarantor!
Absolutely useless and it's a bit worrying that information isn't being passed on
Was asked by a Credit Card Company to allow access to my bank account by this company, which I did. However, two weeks' later, the Credit Card Company contacted me again because they had heard nothing. I rang the Credit Card Company and arranged to do it again. Today, I have rung the Credit Card Company because I've heard nothing and yet again, they have not been passed the information on, even though Consents Online had done two soft searches with the credit agencies.
Unhappy with giving this company my…
Unhappy with giving this company my banking details.
Never in a million years....
Was asked to give this company full access to my company bank account as part of a Vodafone mobile sim purchase. You'd have to be clinically insane to give full access to a company bank account. Never in a million years am I giving a company I've never heard of full access to my company bank account! Crazy.
Didn’t work
First link didn’t work at all (expired). Second link took several hours to come through and was unable to differentiate between an HSBC business account and a personal account, so the process failed.
Finally, I am very uneasy about sharing a bank logon code with a third party, against all security advice. N9 doubt HSBC would decline to make good any loss.
wow - no thanks.
A bank asked me to verify my salary using consents online .. No thanks .. Their checks are crazy if I am honest. They essentially want to connect your account to consents online to gain full visibility into your account going back a full year ... Sorry, but to verify my salary you don't need to know what I spent my money on going back a year ... I don't need you to build a profile on my spending habits - thanks.
