They receive money from businesses in order to have a great review. They gave Amerisafe 10 out of 10 stars. My own research showed horror stories. Cost me $4,400

Waste of time, scam

Consumersadvocate.org is a scam, paid advertising masking as an independent review. They don't even try to understand what the product is about, when they write a review of some company. Random, contradicting highlights from the reviewed services. It almost looks like written by some robot. Then they rate the company 10 out of 10 when there are only 3 comments and all with the same question - "Who the heck wrote this confusing and meaningless article?"

Frustration is one word I am feeling…

Frustration is one word I am feeling right now. I signed on line to get info, within few minutes agent calls and he was so pushy, wanted me to sign NOW, I don’t even have contract on my house sell, but he promised, contract doesn’t start until closing and also offered me 2 extra month. I don’t like being pushed and sign without seeing full picture, so I went on line and signed, they take your money right away and promise to send contract within 24-48 hours...NOTHING, I kept calling agent, no response...than EVERYONE NOTE, if you want to talk to a person, click new policy, than they will TALK, finally I got my contract with policy number and I was shocked, it starts from 30 days after I signed......HEY MY HOUSE IS NOT UNDER CONTRACT YET, and policy for only 12 months, not 14 months. My policy #SHW1812253. If some one wants to resolve my issues, I will keep the policy otherwise I am still in 30 day period, my issues again are, starting date to be at closing and not now, 14 month policy as promised on website and proper contract mailed to us

The site is a scam

The site is a scam. They are paid advertisements. For example: Discover Home Equity Loans they give a 9.1/10 yet there is not one favorable review of Discover out of the 20 reviews they've received. In fine print the site says they are paid by Discover....Ya think? They are paid...enough said.

Disappointed with SEARS!

In January 2018, I had my air ducts cleaned by Sears. I paid $338 to have 15 ducts cleaned. The specialists also wanted to clean out the motor of the furnace for an extra $275 which I declined as I thought it was an amount way too high and should have been included in the $338! Fast forward to June when I went to turn on my air conditioner. It would not go on. I ended up hiring Dave from Time Plumbing, Heating, Drains, Air, and Electric. He checked the furnace and found that the wire to the air conditioner was not reattached and said that he was surprised the furnace even worked as those wires were incredibly loose. I was charged $121. I called Sears twice and told them the situation, once in June and again in July. I was told twice that a manager was not available, but would get back to me. It is August 22, and I have not heard from them. It is sad to see how far Sears has fallen!

Read the Disclosure

Read the Disclosure: We receive advertising revenue from some partners. For those looking at this site for a mortgage lender the reviews are based on how much money each company supplies this site with. They buy their ratings. It is a scam, the mortgage lenders listed don't have the ratings consumersadvocate.org is saying. Do yourself a favor and work with a local mortgage banker or broker. Get multiple quotes and compare them to the lenders listed on consumersadvocate.org and you will see they are not offering the best mortgage on the market. Dishonest and misleading information to anyone looking to buy a home or refinance.

Two years ago I used this same means …

Two years ago I used this same means (ConsumersAdvocate.org) to evaluate the Pet Insurance for my dogs (daughters) and I selected Healthy Paws. I thank you, it was an excellent choice to select Healthy Paws. My Chloe (French Bulldog), has been operated on two occasions from the veltebral column. If we had not had Healthy Paws, we would not have Chloe with us or she would be paralyzed, because we would not have been able to pay the full cost of these operations. The last operation was this month and it cost $ 5,128. Healthy Paws paid 90% of the cost, which was a great relief. The first operation was in 2016, with similar results. Thank God, Healthy Paws and the hospital, our Chloe is in a recovery and walks. Thanks Consumer Advocate and Healthy Paws ...

Gaming sites customer(s) support are useless

I play online games and it says free, but it actually depends on us. Once I finished the free coins, I purchased Google game cards. There's one site called Huuuug billionaire slots. I spent so much money on coins/chips and their games had issues that they admitted are glitches. I had written to their customer support team more than I could count. Months of reaching out to them and never ( not once ) received any help or courtesy. They have nothing but excuses and are real schmucks. Rude, lazy and will not reimburse a penny. When customers pay hundreds of dollars, you would think that they would even fake some effort to give fame assistance. With that said, imagine actually doing their job to assist. Why bother having customer support when they have no intentions to actually support their customers? I've never been treated so badly. I play on other sites and not have problems that would require me to contact their customer support. JUST Huuuug billionaire slots. Trust me when I say that they just want to rake in money. They refuse to help because they're afraid to lose even a penny. So it's great that I can lose all the money I want and any problem (s) I have due to their game issues are my problem. I'm almost done losing my coins and I'm going to delete their app. I did quit months ago and I was stupid enough to think that they would've changed after reporting them to Google. I'm wondering if they'll ever get sued or fined for short changing customers like myself.
