They receive money from businesses in order to have a great review. They gave Amerisafe 10 out of 10 stars. My own research showed horror stories. Cost me $4,400

Changing review - can you give negative stars?
I reviewed this outfit as four stars, but this was BEFORE I discovered that they were tracking me around the web and were adding their name "consumersadvocate" plus other codes to the name of my download files when I was downloading a software elsewhere that I never saw on their site, but I'm sure it's there somewhere..
I only visited the site once, saw something I knew wasn't correct, and left the site - deleting their cookies and blocking them from putting THOSE cookies back. Apparently they add a tracking cookie whose name does NOT contain "consumersadvocate" onto your computer if you visit their site at all, then they track you around the web, adding their name to ANY software you download - IF they also happen to have that software listed someplace on their site and can get $$$ for it. I'll never go there again (and I'm going to find their d-mn tracking cookie and let every software mfg that they add their name to, know that CA is cheating them).
Of course, if CA sees this, they will probably change what they add onto download filenames, so it won't be so recognizable.
Glad to have such a FACTS site, but need ALL the facts.
I'm happy to have a site that compares FACTS about different software, instead of flowery generalities that are short of factual details. even if the ratings may be "fudged" a bit in favor of their "partners." I would also like to see a bit more comprehensive listing than just their "top ten."
Also, Avast (one of their "partners") DOES have a Free Version, even though ConsumersAdvocate says they do not (maybe CA wouldn't get paid?).
I'm running the Free Version and it is great. It does have "nag" popups, but I don't mind that because I may want to upgrade when I get my new desktop completed.
The reasonably full-functioned Free Version tells me that Avast actually cares about being a responsible security force on the internet, even for individuals who may not be able to afford it's premium offerings. Every safe PC makes the whole internet safer for everyone.
I 'm not sure if I would purchase any product from a company that does NOT offer a basic Free Version - kind of like I won't use a veterinarian who doesn't volunteer ANY of their time & skill to help stray animals or shelters with spaying & emergencies. Lack of compassionate service to stray animals tells me that vet doesn't really care about animals, but ONLY cares about money. Not a vet I would trust with my pet's well-being. So CA indicating that AVAST didn't have a Free Version (which in fact they DO) would have put AVAST out of the running for me, sight unseen.

LifeShield medical insurance
After being scammed by LifeShield as a 2018/19 client I am very disappointed to learn they’re still in business! WHY are they still in business?
The only thing this company is good at is stealing monthly premiums because there is no coverage in return, thus 100% profit for LifeShield.
It’s a double whammy for the vulnerable because customer gets stuck with medical bills that only make it more unaffordable because the $100s you’re wasting in premiums toward LifeShield could’ve instead been used to pay off your medical debts.
All LifeShield does is collect your premiums. That’s it!
BEFORE you enroll the sales agent is friendly with well-spoken English. He tells you LifeShield is a legitimate medical insurance and whether short term or not, you’ll be covered for this and that.
But once agent gets his hands on your first premium you discover it’s all lies. What you were guaranteed PRIOR to fees and premiums you discover it’s all a hoax AFTER they’ve received payments from your credit card number. They change the policies AFTER they get your money.
The sales rep says you can call him anytime even AFTER you’ve enrolled if any future questions or disputes. Guess what? As soon as 2 months into premiums and realize it’s a hoax you can’t get ahold of this sells rep.
PRIOR to your first payment the sales rep says only call his direct number and talk to him with any future questions.
But AFTER first denial of a medical claim that all changes.
You call that direct number and it goes to other secretaries or employees with foreign accents who either say we haven’t heard of this agent or they tell you he left for another position or left company all together.
That’s when the red flags started for me.
I know this sales rep was still affiliated with LifeShield! He just won’t talk to you AFTER first payments installed because he knows customer discovered it’s a scam.
Instead the customer service is broken English with no answers. They tell you to call this number that you’ve already called, thus same pattern of wasted hours on the phone.
It’s a brilliant ploy! Frustrate customer to give up because of long confusing holds and transfers on phone and broken English customer service.
In addition LifeShield pretends they don’t receive your medical claims and if they do won’t cover a penny of it. About 4 times a year they switch your ID membership number to delay and confuse the process and LifeShield has an alias of about 6 other different names and logos to confuse clients.
A past customer I’m very disappointed our law enforcement and government still allows LifeShield to be in business to take advantage of the vulnerable! Shame on our government and law enforcement!
Because no action taken to shut down LifeShield I have no faith in our country’s honor system, government or law enforcement!

Will not recommend!
I've been using Raw Paws for a little…
I've been using Raw Paws for a little over a month. I was very skeptical about feeding raw to my fur family that consists of 2 dogs (2 years, 9 years) and 2 cats ( 6 months, 1 year). John was patient with me and took the time out to even make a phone call without me asking. After talking to my vet I canceled my order but after doing more research, I decided to give it a try. John never tried to sway me in either direction, instead, he suggested I talk to traditional and holistic vets as well as do my homework. He was very respectful and even mentioned he respected both types of veterinarian's views. My experience with John (customer service) was A+. I've also made several adjustments to my order and John was always accommodating, patient and friendly. The food quality is excellent as well. I tried one of the competitor foods and my animal got sick (was vomiting). It could have been a coincidence but it isn't something that ever happened before and it's not something that has happened since feeding Raw Paws.
He did an excellent job
He did an excellent job. He set the traps and showed me how they worked and where they were located. Afterward he told me how to contact customer service if/when something is trapped. I do not remember his name - a young spanish man. He was very nice and professional. He deserves the bonus! Thank you,

I am very pleased with my decision to take out a Pet Policy with Healthy Paws. Their phone app makes submitting claims quick and easy. Claims and claim payments are processed quickly.
The few times I called, I was connected with friendly and helpful staff.
Following a claim submitted for double elbow dysplasia surgery, Healthy Paws sent an email wishing my pet well.
I have nothing but praise for Healthy Paws.

Great service
Great service. Delivered as promised
I would use them again
consumer Adviocate is exactly the opposite
This company clearly states they take money from those they review, so I guess it would be unfair to call them a fraud. They’re clear they lie, and have incentive to.
My experience is with CSA travel insurance, which they rate a 3.5/5, or Very Good. Yet no one, including myself, have anything good to say about this company. Ther business modl is to do everything possible to not pay a claim. That company is a fraud, even refusing to pay a claim for a cancelled trip because the insured DIED.

Cancel that 1 star
Cancel that 1 star, People of Richmond, you all need to be very aware of smile Direct Club in general, in April my daughter arranged for a fitting, we paid an initial $250 deposit & agreed to pay $80 per month, 6 weeks later the teeth aligners arrived but after a couple of days they started to make her gums bleed, we complained & returned the teeth aligners to the location in Richmond, we were waiting & waiting. 4 months went by, every time we called we were promised over & over again that the teeth aligners would be arriving any day, obviously we had enough & canceled, after two more months of phone calls between smile Direct Club & their so called finance company, we were told that we would only be receiving the $250 deposit & that I would not be receiving the 5 months of payments because I had received the product earlier?, makes no sense except that there just out to rip of customers of there hard earned money, (ruthless company)
Took a chance on another company & it’s all good now.
II wish someone had warned me like I’m warning you.
Just walk away.
